Interesting ;-)
YEEES...
difficult!
I tested two other rose fragrances before.
And this one was the least rose-scented.
At first, it was ... uh ...
the scent was a bit "rough" and harsh.
That settled down (much faster than with SL) and became sweeter.
The whole scent remained somewhat edgy.
The rose was noticeable, no, detectable, but not overly pronounced.
At some point, the whole scent calmed down and turned into a slightly woody "remnant".
Somehow, I can't think of anything more to say about it.
Conclusion: Nice, but not mind-blowing.
Again, there was nothing in the scent that bothered me, but nothing that would push me to buy it.
50% for the artistic performance, 10% for the fun with the scent.

Floral!
The scent starts with a (what I find) unbearable coconut note (I hate the smell of coconut).
Then the fragrance became very floral.
It remained bright and cheerful after this development.
It stayed that way for the next few hours until the scent gradually disappeared (after about 7 hours).
Conclusion:
Once again, Serge has done a great job creating this fragrance in the (though simple, but not unloving) bottle.
I found the scent too floral. Nice for the ladies among you, but not for me (not for me on me!).
60% for the beautiful work.

Almost Christmas-like (but only almost)
Even before the “serious” testing of the fragrance, I occasionally sniffed the sample vial. And I tell you (to all who want to subject themselves to this comment): It was not pleasant! *GAG*
But then came the day when I wanted to test the fragrance from morning to evening. Until the scent reached my skin, I kept thinking: “Should I really do this? I’m going to feel sick all day if I test it!” But it didn’t turn out that way after all. I survived the day!
In the opening, I was greeted by a fig bomb, accompanied by clove and candied mandarin peel. Okay... I didn’t detect that it was supposed to be mandarin peel, and that it was supposed to be candied, but there was definitely NO “fresh cheerful orange peel” present, but rather sweetly delicious (somehow biteable) citrus peel.
The initial sharpness smooths out over the course of (hmm, how long was that?) half an hour, and it actually smells quite good.
So the scent remains like this until the end.
Conclusion:
Really good work.
Overall quite nice and rounded.
And now comes the BUT: Too EXTREME for me, nevertheless: A beautiful scent.
60% for the good work, 10% because the whole thing was nice (or rather: is)

Rose from Beginning to End
...this fragrance offers.
As soon as I removed the cap from the sample bottle, the scent of rose greeted me. However, it was not the everyday bouquet rose scent, but rather the fragrance that a blooming wild rose hedge exudes. Alongside it, there are also other slightly sweet notes that darken the otherwise bright rose scent, as if the rose hedge were standing in a forest (albeit in one without forest floor).
Until the end, the rose scent was present, practically until I stepped into the shower the next morning (of course, one had to search quite a bit for the scent the next morning, but it was definitely still detectable).
Even though I wouldn't exactly describe rose scent as discreet, especially in fragrances for men, this perfume is indeed subtle.
Lastly, a note:
This perfume immediately reminded me of a wild rose shampoo that I always used when I was between 4 and 8 years old.
(I believe it was from Weleda)
Conclusion:
definitely a beautiful fragrance. Not suitable for every day.
I find the scent uh... ...uh... different. I think it’s very lovely, and I’m grateful that I got to test it, but for my shelf, or rather for my collection, it’s not really for me (although, in a few years, I might come back to the fragrance).
70% for the wonderful scent, and an additional 10% because I also like it.
Addendum:
Oh, what the heck, I WANT THE FRAGRANCE!!

Haiti.
This fragrance is supposedly inspired by Haiti.
O.K. I have never been to Haiti, so I can't say whether the interpretation is successful or not.
Upon spraying, I was greeted by a strong, tangy burst of citrus scent.
Shortly after spraying, the "acidity" was gone and the fragrance smelled like pure soap.
But soon a scent emerged that I would describe as bitter, woody, green (like the bottle), and slightly floral. Behind the bitter freshness, there was a subtle floral note.
(My comment sounds rather pretentious)
A lovely fragrance.
And the first one I have experienced from Creed.
