Wenn ich Kommis gleich auf Englisch schreibe, vorn steht, dass das nicht ins Deutsche übersetzt wird, kann ich ja kurz machen. Und dann Deutsch? Ich probiere es, wenn ich wieder was kommentieren möchte. Wenn es nicht so ist: Löschen. Aber was ist mit Deinem viel besseren Englisch als meinem? Antworten kann ich anders auch. Und muss ich ja nicht immer. Pokale gibts nur für deutsche Kommis, LG Seerose

Es ist Olympic Rainforest, aber wenn Du meinen Kommentar liest, wirst Du ahnen, dass er bei dir wohl eher nicht über 5 hinauskommen wird. ;) Falls Du ihn dennoch unerschrocken testen möchtest:

Vielen Dank fürs Lesen von D&R. Egal ob Orientale, Florientale oder reiner Blumenduft - D&R ist einfach wunderschön und wird, wie alle Düfte, sehr unterschiedlich wahrgenommen. Und genau das finde ich toll und auch unheimlich spannend.

Die Parallele zeigt sich bei Paris EDP zu White Linen, das EDT hat für mich keine Ähnlichkeit. Bin gespannt, ob du das auch so empfindest...

Oh, nein, das ist ja großartig. Bin Camus-Fan. Maisondieu macht ja die ELDOs und viele CdGs, was ja schon mal von Vornherein nicht schlecht ist. Die Burberrys sind natürlich sehr mainstreamig, aber okay. Die VC & A-Reihe finde ich auch gelungen. Und selbst der YR Comme und Evidence ist ein netter Duft für fast kein Geld. Während die Monocle-Reihe von CdG sowieso zu meinen absoluten Favoriten gehört. Ohne Sugi wollte ich gar nicht mehr leben. Insofern würde ich mal sagen, dass er, wen wundert es bei diesem Opa, zu den interessantesten Gegenwartsparfumeuren gehört.

Ich bin superglücklich mit meinem Sacrebleu und kann gar nicht verstehen, wie man ihn eintauschen kann( nicht mal gegen Zitat " .... DEN Irisduft" ).
Ich hatte ihn vor Jahren mit 90% bewertet und das passt immer noch.
Vielen Dank auch für das schöne Buch! Ich liebe Bücher!

Dankeschön für Deine Einschätzung zu Roja Dove. Du konntest mehr als an der Oberfläche kratzen und ich freu mich, dass ich mit meiner Ansicht wohl gar nicht so daneben liege.
Ich bin halt auch inzwischen in einem Alter, in dem mir so ein Brimborium nicht mehr imponiert. Ich kann mich gut erinnern, dass Ende der 60er Helena Rubinstein für mich nicht nur eine Kosmetikmarke sondern eine Lebenseinstellung war. Auslöser waren gut gemachte Schulungen in Hotels, in die ich mich normalerweise nie gewagt hätte. Schulungsleiterin war eine in die Jahre gekommene Primaballerina. Nicht jede Tänzerin, die langsam vor sich hin altert hat das Zeug zur Choreographin und so war das wohl auch bei ihr. Aber sie hat uns ein Gefühl von Eleganz und endloser Schönheit vermittelt, das mit der Ware, die wir schließich verkaufen sollten nur am Rande zu tun hatte. Dass hinter den Kulissen wie überall auch nur mit Wasser gekochte wurde, habe ich aber bald festgestellt.

Truth be told, I've always thought that a hammer was more akin to some feminine perfumes of the mighty '80s than to masculine ones. And this particular one would be of no use driving these "cute little" nails in anything else except butter. One Man Show's bottle would be way better for doing the job. Lots of thanks!

Un de ces coeurs est le mien, étant éternellement amoureux avec Histoire d'Amour. And I understand that Tosca-scented tea is rather hard to swallow, but it was a very familiar part of my life, since it was my maternal grandmother's signature perfume, and I remember smelling it on her for almost thirty years. I assume that the amount of how *verrrry "art"-ful* the picture you suggest would be, depends on the number of turns of the bench vice's lever...Other than that, Knize Ten is a firebrand for nearly a century now. Given that in its current, surely less potent version, it's still one of the toughest guys in the "leather clan", I can't even imagine how compelling it was in the days of yore...Thanks a million!

It was retrieved from inside the Kraken, after it met its untimely demise...Rumour has it that it was exactly this bottle that finally killed it. And who else than a Caribbean witch could have possibly laid hands on it? Many-many thanks!

I'm a proud crazy cat lady too! My "models" won't stay still long enough to let me take pictures of them. It's as if they know I'm going to take their picture. Crazy creatures (I love them)!

I was struggling with it since it was launched 20 years ago, and it took me nearly half of them to finally decide that I love the way it burns my olfactory receptors with its datura and narcissus mayhem as opposed to its mimosa and vanilla cuddling."
So, you're not the only one as it seems. However, there's no reason to give up trying to warm up with it. It's never too late to like a perfume, and no one knows when this is going to happen. Thanks a million!
P.S.: Kudos for your signature scent. It's not something often encountered nowadays.
