The Quiet Presence & the Unobtrusive Veil
Tacit impresses me with its unique, herbaceous-spicy scent. The combination of citrus fruit with the dominant basil is simply beautiful. On my skin, the clear basil note primarily dominates the top note. The citrusy (really Yuzu?) scent, which for me is more mandarin-like, fades quite quickly. Thus, unlike many other citrus fragrances, Tacit on my skin does not feel fresh, but surprisingly warm, almost slightly plush.

In the heart note, I mainly perceive the warmth of amber and cedarwood, while the vetiver remains more in the background. This fragrance develops into an exceptionally caressing, warm companion. For me, it is currently the perfect companion for autumn.

Despite the subtle nuances, the fragrance lasted about 12 hours on me, which is impressive for an edP.

A flattering, gentle, uncomplicated scent perfect for autumn. For anyone who appreciates a light freshness paired with warm woody notes and wants to immerse themselves in the long-gone summer nights by the coast while autumn sets in.

Tacit is subtle, unobtrusive, and still has a quiet presence.

Feminine Sandalwood Scent
Well.. I have now arrived at clean fragrances, and Santal Calling by Ex Nihilo is my favorite from this brand.

How would I describe it? The well-groomed skin of a young woman: clean, soft, and lightly moisturized. The combination of sandalwood, floral creaminess, and a subtle, not sweet vanilla note gives it a fresh yet feminine character. Hard to describe. Although it somehow reminded me at first of Santal 33 by Le Labo (probably because of the sandalwood), it develops quite differently throughout the day. The sillage is above average with this scent.

The fragrance is excellently balanced and impresses with its clarity. In contrast to other sandalwood scents that are often heavy and sweet, here the sandalwood comes through clearly, fresh, and with a remarkable lightness. This is mainly due to the spiciness of nutmeg, which gives the fragrance a transparent note. The iris provides a gentle, crystalline floral quality that takes away the typical heaviness of the sandalwood and makes it appear ethereal. Musk adds a warm, soft depth, while a milky-vanilla accord contributes a delicate, lactonic sweetness.
The result is a very high-quality and balanced fragrance with an intelligent, stylish understatement. For me, it's a scent for every day and also for going out.

The bottle doesn't quite match my taste, but the sprayer is excellent.

The Seducer: Tobacco and Vanilla
Oh Tobacco Vanille. YOU were my first Tom Ford and I fell in love with you at first sight. And it’s still the same.

Tom Ford's Tobacco Vanille is an extremely potent scent for me, perfect for a mysterious evening but also works wonderfully in everyday life. With this fragrance, I simply feel confident and sensual. The nuances of tobacco and vanilla create a unique blend that transports me to a world of fragrance sophistication.

The scent starts off very tobacco-heavy. That’s exactly what I love so much, because the tobacco richness then develops into a substantial vanilla with incredible elegance and strength, while the smokiness still lingers.

The long-lasting nature of Tobacco Vanille is impressive and keeps the scent intense and warm throughout the day. After several hours, it becomes like a caressing balm and works incredibly well. The interesting nuances make this fragrance a perfect choice for those seeking a strong and seductive scent that stands out from the others.

One of my absolute favorite Tom Fords!
