A Fragrance for Me
I absolutely have to edit my comment on this perfume. Originally, I had criticized the projection. The fragrance was only noticeable to me. My husband could only smell it when he was close to me, and my mom only when I warmly hugged her to greet her. After doing some research on the composition of the scent, it turned out: that's exactly how it's supposed to be. The perfumers have deliberately created a fragrance that doesn't show off, but rather, if you will, has an "understatement," appearing enchanting and seductive. And how does one become enchanting, seductive, and mysterious? Exactly, by not having a projection that reaches to the moon, but being subtly perceptible and merging with the warmth of the skin...

From the beginning:
This is the first fragrance where I do NOT like the top note in the first few minutes, but then it transforms into an absolutely soft, powdery, creamy vanilla scent.
In the first few minutes, the coriander seeds combined with the bergamot on my skin created a note that smelled a bit like "grandma under the arm." Just like those old, spicy deodorants, a bit musty, a bit stale...
But after about five minutes, (thankfully) this spicy note completely disappears, and the fragrance becomes wonderfully creamy on my skin. It now feels delicately soft - no more scratchy black pepper. The vanilla from the base clearly comes forward and mixes pleasantly with orange and the violets. I was a bit afraid of the rose based on the scent notes, as I usually can't stand it. However, I don't perceive it at all here. The floral, soft vanilla is clearly in the spotlight for me. Jasmine makes the entire composition floral, but not like a bouquet of flowers; rather, together with the vanilla, it is pleasantly feminine, light, not too sweet, summery.
And the base notes surprise me after a few hours. Where other perfumes leave only a woody, bitter sweetness, this fragrance remains creamy on my skin even after hours - powdery and pleasant!

Edit conclusion: This is a perfume just for me. I notice it again and again throughout the day. Despite the (deliberately) subtle projection, it lasts forever on my skin and even envelops me the next day with soft, floral, creamy vanilla. Others only perceive this scent on me when they are very close - just as the creator intended. With this knowledge, I enjoy this perfume even more. I don't annoy anyone with my scent cloud, nor do I cause headaches for anyone. But I can enjoy my perfume all day long, and I can enchant those who come close to me with this fragrance...

*Quiek* I am Delina, here I am *Quiek*
Oh, I can already feel the hate comments coming my way, but I just have to write this statement to create a realistic picture of this fragrance on this forum. I promise I will try to be as diplomatic as possible:

So: I ordered a sample of Delina because everyone promised me a feminine, soft scent that attracts compliments, is light and seductive at the same time.
Full of anticipation, I applied Delina and what I unfortunately associate with it:
The little Delina squeaks and shrieks from the very first second on my skin in shrill tones: "Here I am, notice me. Here, here, here, here I am, yes now I’m stabbing you in the nose" - nothing "soft," nothing "seductive"...

Admittedly, this may sound very harsh to Delina lovers, and please be aware: I am speaking here about MY perception of the fragrance on MY skin. It may work, develop, and be perceived completely differently on other women.
But I believe that here on Parfumo, a realistic picture of fragrances should emerge, and realistically, this scent simply does not appeal to everyone, but rather evokes almost aggression in ME.

It’s probably due to the dominant lychee note. This causes, in MY nose and according to MY perception, a stinging sensation that unfortunately does not go away even after a few hours.
The whole thing then mixes with a rose that is also (on my skin) stinging - the combination feels to me cloying and attention-seeking.

Where one cannot complain: the longevity is gigantic! For me, it’s rather bad, as I still perceive the "squeaking" of Delina after two days, but for lovers, that might be great.

And to round off my comment:
My husband said, what kind of "girly scent" I was wearing, so I seem not to be the only one who doesn’t like Delina.
I am SURE, however, that it smells better on other women; it just doesn’t get along with my skin and my nose.

Pure Vacation
Creed Virgin Island Water - designed to transform the Caribbean into a fragrance.
And Creed has succeeded! When I wear it, I think of white sandy beaches, deep blue water, clear skies, sunshine, and vacation.
However, this scent also reflects the not-so-great aspects of a vacation in the Caribbean:
The heat can become oppressive, just like the fragrance can become heavy after a few hours, lacking those wonderful zesty notes from the beginning. Also, Pina Colada is not for everyone, just like the strongly noticeable coconut in the perfume. While at the beginning of the vacation, one loves the breakfast buffet with a huge selection of fresh fruits, by the end, one might have overindulged in pineapple and no longer wants to smell it in the perfume.

And hardly have you returned from vacation to the daily grind than you long for the Caribbean again...
That's exactly how I feel about this scent: I put it on and I'm in vacation heaven! But then a few hours pass and it becomes too heavy and sticky for me. However, as soon as it fades in the evening or the next day, I yearn again for the lovely sweet fruity accords from the beginning and I spray it on again, only to slightly regret it a few hours later.

Cuddle Mood in a Bottle
Whenever I apply Lira, it enhances my cuddle mood.
The vanilla note reminds one of freshly baked vanilla crescent cookies from childhood days, the warm blood orange pulls the vanilla together with lavender in a fresher, lighter direction, and the caramel envelops everything in a golden, soft, rounded aura.
These are the main notes that I perceive.
After about 7 hours, only the caramel can be smelled on my skin, unfortunately the wonderful blood orange has faded away.
A truly well-crafted gourmand fragrance, if not Lira being the mother of all gourmands. The notes are perfectly balanced, no note screams, is scratchy, or too self-assured.

For me personally, it’s more of a home scent; it would be too heavy for the office, and I would probably get so caught up in smelling my wrist that I wouldn't be able to work ;)
Comments I've received from my close circle: my mom finds it too sweet, my husband thinks it's too heavy, however, my best friend loves this perfume, and my aunt even bought it for me again.

Those who love gourmands will adore Lira - those who don’t like sweet vanilla and caramel should steer clear of it.

Dupe to White Suede by Tom Ford
Great, budget-friendly dupe to "White Suede" by Tom Ford.
Pleasantly feminine, young, and clean, while also being powdery and seductive.

Initially, I wanted to buy a dupe for the Tom Ford fragrance to see if I would even wear this type of scent with my large collection. And what can I say: yes! This fragrance goes with everything: to the office, at the café with the girls, for a job interview, on a date,...
It's not too overpowering but still noticeable, without coming off as "the girl next door." The leather note adds an unexpected aura to this otherwise sweet, feminine scent.

Now I have both perfumes and a brief comparison:
White Suede smells a bit fuller, whereas Noa has a slightly sharp note at first. However, after about an hour, they become indistinguishable.
The longevity is the same for both, about 5 hours.
The bottle is beyond comparison: Noa is round, light, a bit playful, and unfortunately, due to the pure plastic, it doesn't feel as nice in the hand - but given this unbeatable price, that's to be expected; after all, it's the content that counts. White Suede, on the other hand, is angular and heavy, and I think the clear lines don't match the round, feminine scent, but the bottles of the entire Tom Ford line are supposed to look the same, after all.
