This summer I wanted to wear a fresh, aquatic fragrance again, and which one is better suited than Aqua di Gioia by Armani - or Feels like summer by S. Oliver. I stumbled upon it quite by chance at DM and was immediately reminded of the Armani scent. However, this one is significantly fruitier and a bit less "oceanic" and doesn't last quite as long. Still, it's a more affordable alternative if you're looking for a great, fresh summer scent.

I discovered this wonderful, mysterious scent a few years ago by chance during a city stroll. The bottle initially seemed a bit over the top to me, and I didn't expect much from the fragrance. Therefore, the surprise was even greater when I sprayed it on my wrist. Until then, I had preferred very sweet and/or heavy scents like Olympéa by Paco Rabanne or all the fragrances from Yves Saint Laurent (Manifesto, Black Opium...). What can I say? "Good girl" blew me away. And my boyfriend was also very taken with the scent on me that evening. However, it is definitely a perfume for going out and seducing. For me, lemon and bergamot are hardly noticeable, but the sweet and floral nuances like jasmine, sandalwood, cashmere, patchouli, and tonka bean are much more prominent. I've never received more compliments for any perfume. And I love it too!

As I am a huge fan of Armani perfumes, I was naturally thrilled by "My Way." However, I sometimes find the scent a bit too intense for everyday wear, which is why its fragrance twin "Her Choice" by La Rive caught my interest. I immediately noticed it on the shelf due to the almost identical bottle (at least in color). My boyfriend always complains that the floral notes stand out on my skin, and indeed it smells very strongly of jasmine (which doesn’t bother me at all). I can't detect any gum scent whatsoever. All in all, it’s a pleasant, sweet, floral fragrance. Completely sufficient for everyday use.
