I come out of my home office, having played Italica to get in the mood for the weekend. My 5-year-old daughter greets me with open arms and wants to be picked up. Déjà-vu
I fell in love with this fragrance from the very first moment, even though I am not a fan of oud.
Right after the first spray, I am transported back to my childhood; I smell wonderfully ripe, juicy, and zesty berries, raspberries, and strawberries, just like in my parents' garden when I picked them fresh and ripe myself, and of course, more ended up in my mouth than in the bowl. Hmmm, it smells so delicious, and I am 7 years old again, when the world was carefree and unburdened. And that's exactly how it continues after the top note.
The heart note, or rather the base note, doesn't take long to appear; after a short time, I perceive a warm, protective, soothing balsamic scent. It must be the oud and musk, as the vanilla plays only a minor role here. This is the first oud I like, because it is not sweaty and dirty, but soft, protectively warm. You really feel secure and carefree. Nevertheless, it remains light and unburdened; it doesn't overwhelm you but gives you your own space.
For me, a fragrance for small Déjà-vu moments of childlike carefreeness and security. And for anyone who usually doesn't like oud.

I ordered this fragrance blind after reading the good reviews here, and the price wasn't too painful either.
When it arrived, I eagerly applied a spritz on my wrist to test it out. And BAM, the aldehydes and pepper completely overwhelmed me. And I don't even like aldehydes. Moreover, it smells like particularly cheap aldehydes. So much for the opening. I thought: Great! Money down the drain!
BUT! After the top notes faded, the fragrance slowly develops... and in a completely different direction. The sharpness disappears entirely, and it gradually smells more high-quality, a 180-degree turn.
Then, after about an hour, I perceive a milky, creamy floral cuddle scent. It is not a gourmand, as some here write, because it lacks the typical gourmand sweetness. No, it is slightly sweet, but this sweetness reminds me of a nice body cream, hence the milky note, making you feel cozy and comfortable with Unique Woman. It is cuddly and slightly fresh at the same time, as if you just stepped out of the bath, or comparable to baby scent.
Unique Woman is perfect for all occasions; you definitely can't go wrong with it. It does not come across as intrusive, giving an "well-groomed impression." You just have to give it time and not be put off by the top notes. Because then you will definitely be rewarded. A fragrance that surprises, positively! It's a pity that it doesn't last very long (about 4-5 hours), and the sillage could be stronger for my taste.
