Pomelo Explosion
Wow, the opening is juicy, fresh, and realistic. Sparkling grapefruit and pomelo, which remain very prominent for me for up to 4 hours. Occasionally, aquatic notes seem to come through. There’s no hint of toilet cleaner here, but real fruit is offered. A mix of light sweetness, bitterness, and green nuances gives it an incredibly pleasant complexity, which stays intensely in my mind and keeps drawing my nose back.

After that, a solid amber base remains, reminding me of various summer designers like Light Blue, Dior Cologne, as the scent becomes increasingly synthetic after 4-5 hours.

The sillage and longevity are absolutely convincing. On the test strip, the citrus-fruity opening can still be clearly detected even after 2 days. On the skin, the scent develops throughout the day.

Great summer fragrance that impresses me.

A Delightfully Autumnal Scent
Mauboussin Star for Men is a hidden gem for anyone who appreciates warm, spicy fragrances with a creamy vanilla base. From the very first spray, it exudes an elegant, autumnal vibe, where spices, woods, and soft vanilla blend in a way that feels cozy but never overwhelming.

Star for Men strikes the perfect balance for me - rich and warm, but not too sweet, allowing me to wear it both during the day and in the evening for many occasions. The spicy kick in the top note adds depth to the fragrance, while the creamy undertones provide a smooth finish. An ideal scent for the cooler months. I would also recommend this fragrance for younger individuals, as the spice is not really edgy.

Anyone looking for a scent that captures the warmth of autumn without being too heavy will make a fantastic choice here.

Herbaceous Gentleman
An intriguing scent that certainly not everyone will want or can wear. It is definitely not a youthful profile, but it can definitely be worn on many occasions. The fragrance is not necessarily edgy, but in my opinion, it is not a mass-pleaser. Strong projection and good longevity.

The scent reminds me of the smell of pecans. Woody, dry, with a very light nutty sweetness. A strong patchouli note. It feels mature and serious. Perfect for gentlemen and suitable for the office with fewer sprays.

The bottle is solid and the cap is magnetic. The price/quality ratio is good.

Fruity
I bought Ajwad Pink to Pink as an affordable alternative to compare it with a sample of Maison Crivelli's Oud Maracuja.

Oud Maracuja is smokier and leatherier, with an extremely well-balanced contrast between fruity and smoky. Unfortunately, for me, Pink to Pink is not a substitute for that. The latter does have a smoky base, but it seems to come through too rarely for me. Those who are fans of a strong tropical fruity note will find this one appealing.

The price/performance ratio is still insane, of course.
