Pure Testosterone
The second word after `Diaghilev` that pops into my mind thinking of Roja Dove is definitely, Fetish. I consider it one of is best creation out there, a fierce perspective on leather, just pure Testosterone in a bottle.
It starts with a fresh lime/bergamot and turns few seconds later into a very powerful, slightly bitter, musky animalic leather. The castoreum here is incredible, although the `dirtiness` degree depends on skin chemistry. In contrast with its often compared sibling, Puredistance M, Fetish is loud, aggressive and very masculine, fills the space around pushing the perimeter with the vigorous, virile Alpha wild animal characteristic.
After a while the perfume turns into a chypre leather with just the right amount of smoke and hints of cardamon. The leather softens in the dry-down due the patchouli and labdanum turning after ca. 6-7 hours into a warm, soft ambered leather skin scent.
Fetish has an incredible longevity and projection. And is definitely not for the faint hearted.

Geranium in a Bottle
Apparently discontinued a few years ago, Risqué pour Homme is in my opinion an underrated fragrance from Mr. Roja Dove. I would even take the risk to say that it lies between his best creations. The perfume represents an homage to the Pelargonium graveolens who plays the central role in the fragrance´s developement.
After a clean, beautiful bergamot/citrus blast with lavender undertones, in a couple of minutes Geranium enters the stage. For the next 2 hours the perfume is quite linear focused on Geranium with floral hints of jasmine and rose due the related chemistry (linalool, geraniol and citronellol). And what we have here is not the sharp, abrasive Geranium found in the Ropion´s Pour Monsieur but a soft and creamy one. And that is exactly how it´s supposed to be, in order to enable a smooth, almost imperceptible transition to a beautiful, byzantine church like, myrrh-frankincense scent in the dry-down.

Vintage Chypre
What can be said about Diaghilev that wasn´t said already... It is definitely a fragrance that polarise opinions. For me is for sure a great vintage chypre, deep and opulent, very well blended, as already Mr. Roja has accustomed us.
For the very first sniff that blows your mind and nose (literally) with a blast of clean bergamot, to the torrent of oakmoss with undertones of light dirty, animalic, musky leather that is intoxicating your olfactory cells, the opening of Diaghilev is truly spectacular. The oakmoss is always there, in different degrees, a constant presence throughout the perfume´s evolution. Floral, spicy-oriental in the dry-down till it fades out as a warm amber-labdanum skin scent.
The perfume has a decent longevity (on my skin) with moderate sillage. Definitely overprized but nevertheless a must try for chypre lovers and not only.
