What has been achieved here? Quentin's decision to make “Decision” an olfactory devotion, a quiet, transcendent space.
You enter the fragrance with an ethereal sweet myrrh, slightly sugary and a bit sharp, lightened by bergamot and pepper. Then the typical Amouage frankincense joins in, bright, green, fresh. The juniper hides a little, as do the patchouli and cedarwood. However, the vanilla in the drydown is a pleasant partner to the now balsamic myrrh….
On my skin, Decision becomes a fine milk, delicate, calm & subtle. Quite different from the lightning strike in the juniper announced by Amouage, I find myself in another place through this composition.
Warm, flowing spicy milk envelops me and brings me back to childhood when you could buy milk ice on a stick for 50 pfennigs and felt quite grown-up for a moment.
For me, a beautiful symphony that draws its strength from silence and tranquility. It doesn't always have to be loud. I love the quiet tones. As if a familiar person were whispering a beautiful fairy tale in your ear. Dreamlike.

A fragrance architecture like a modern bungalow, glass, steel, sober lines, no distractions. The structure is exposed, like a bare skeleton, allows for deep insight, invites you to step inside, enjoy the air and space, and let the meditative calm take effect. Cool, clear, cold, clinical, I love the embrace of this Iron Maiden.

...it arrives slowly, slightly confusing the nose with its initially strong vanilla sweetness, which only after a while reveals the view into the deeper valley, where dusty dry ripe raspberries grow, and in the dappled shade the few lily of the valley and chalky violets thrive on suede earth...
despite powerful ingredients, it remains cuddly, elegant, and wonderfully wearable. English understatement inspired the olfactory story that this fragrance skillfully tells. Cheers Mate, we'll definitely meet again!

wonderful for all lovers of Aventus, Terre D'Hermès, Sauvage, Acqua Di Sale, and Molecule 01, perfectly softened edges, no sharp points, dreamily beautiful, expensive mainstream that is zero point zero individual and therefore, like the initially mentioned monkey scents, will also appeal to any random hipster whose religion is Jeremy Fragrance. Amen.
