Very Bitter... Just Not For Me
Sprayed at 7am
First spray is really quite bitter. But as it dries down it’s mellowing out. I think it’s the tart rhubarb that is dominating the top notes. Though i definitely get some Bergamot and a green vegetal note that must be the strawberry leaf. It’s quite strong at this stage.
An hour in and it’s still quite bitter, but it’s evolved into a more citrus fragrance. I’m getting a hint of peony, but just a hint.
By noon I can still smell it up close, so that’s pretty decent longevity.
This is a very sharp fragrance that would appeal to people who like bitter citrus scents. It’s not really for me, but I think it’s well done for what it is.

Almost No Scent
Sharp alcohol scent right off the bat. As it dries down it gets creamier. But once it dries down I can barely smell it. There's a hint of licorice which is unfortunate because I hate licorice. But the problem overall is that it is practically scentless. When I put my nose directly in my skin, I'm getting the vanilla and maybe some honey, but not much of anything else. I mean, it's affordable, but if it doesn't perform at all, what's the point? I can’t believe I fell for the TikTok hype on this one.
Not the coffee scent I was looking for
At first spray it’s super spicy and musky. As it dries down the almond and a hint of coffee emerges. But then there’s this sort of foul undertone that comes out (kind of like spoiled milk). It’s also more musky than I anticipated based on the notes. Honestly, I was looking for more coffee, so while this isn’t totally offensive, it’s not the coffee fragrance I was looking for.
Very Cedarwood Forward

At first spray I’m getting a really strong, dry wood note. Like a cedarwood chest. This is a pretty strong fragrance with good projection, even outside. However, I’m not really getting a pine note, just the woods. But as it is drying down, the woods are getting softer. I think I’m getting the saffron note and a bit of a vanilla undertone.
Okay, about 45 minutes in I’m getting a hint of evergreen and some of the juniper berries, but mostly the cedarwood.
By 11am, there’s not much projection, though it’s still fairly strong if I put my nose to my skin. It’s gotten muskier with time, but it’s still a strong cedarwood scent.
I don’t mind the fragrance at all, but I don’t think I’ll want to invest in a full bottle. That said, I think I’ll save the sample to reference in case someday I find myself wanting to get a super woody fragrance.

Immediately I get a milky, slightly musky caramel note. By dry down, it has a reasonable projection. I can smell it about a foot away. It would be nice if it was a bit stronger, but I don’t mind having an intimate scent.
It’s very sweet, but not cloying. I’m glad the caramel isn’t super buttery. I do think I’m getting the maple sugar as well as the whipped coconut.
By noon it has mostly faded which isn’t great. That said, it’s evolved into a cozy, comforting fragrance. Overall, it’s really lovely. I just wish it had better projection and longevity.
