the more exuberant party Delina
she has really transformed...truly, from a soulless, clumsy Delina, she has turned into something loud, very strong, and radiant. And wow, she was already a beast back then...but I will not revise my statement to illustrate the development. The rating will, however, rise from an 8.5 to a 9.5.
Sure, Delina is more refined, but what you get here should not be underestimated. Delina herself: Royal, elegant, graceful, stunning, just Delina :D
Rose 01: Her sister, loud, over-the-top, always on the go, has no qualms about dancing on tables. Yet despite all this, she is absolutely not cheap or primitive; she can be different too.
Everything about her is slightly over-the-top, the rose radiates almost even more than in Delina herself. And she lasts, lasts, and lasts... 12 hours are definitely achievable. My dress took quite a hit, and when I wore it the next day, completely unperfumed, my beloved wanted to know if I had doused myself in Delina again...
If you're looking for a Delina that doesn't back down and allows you to literally dance through the night and stand out in a crowd, give this one a try. Sure, there’s Souvenir and Fatima, but believe me, even though they last long, they are not as room-filling and potent.
Here, aging has definitely paid off.

disappointing
I really like La Rive. Yes, some brands of this kind appeal to me more, but La Rive also has some lovely treasures. The alternative to Br540 develops on me, for example, almost identically. If someone looks into my comments, my collection, or my profile, they will quickly realize that I have an abnormal love for Delina Eau de Parfum. It is by far my number 1; I have emptied one bottle and recently acquired a second. Additionally, I own alternatives that can match Delina in my nose and evoke the same feelings in me. Accordingly, I was curious about La Rive's version, but it shocked me more than it delighted me. It smells as if someone had ground Delina through a meat grinder multiple times and doused it with piercing hairspray, and I mean none of the fruity pleasantly scented ones, rather one of those synthetic, sharp, stale kinds. The question arises, what did I expect at this price? Honestly? quite a lot, because I know that even in this price segment, there are better options, and elegant woman, the sister of BR540, is one of those positive examples. I could have lived with a softer Delina, but this pale and simultaneously piercing, shapeless creature that doesn't even come close to Delina is unfortunately not for me. I let Poetique mature, yet I couldn't warm up to it, and so this scent had to move on. To a friend who appreciates the beauty of this perfume, just like some others here do, but unfortunately, this beauty did not reveal itself to me. I would have loved Poetique very much...

great, gourmand fruity for the cool season
I discovered Solid Gold through a video by "Pleite wegen Düfte." He described it as a great alternative to Delina Edp by PDM. Otherwise, there was hardly anything to find, so I ordered it blind.
I expected everything, but not what came to me in terms of scent. It has nothing to do with Delina at all. It goes a little in the direction of Angel Nova, but much softer, with gum and lots of vanilla. Shishalike fits too, just without the smoke. My partner and a friend, with whom I tested the fragrance together, confirm the impression, both the sweet gourmand scent impression and the dissimilarity to Delina. I am still trying to understand how it can be that a more or less identical fragrance composition can smell so different. The sillage seems to be decent. I can be smelled from 5 meters away, and I suspect similar durability, but I will include that in the evaluation after a thorough test. Solid Gold overall feels high quality, and the price-performance ratio is appropriate.
Different than expected and yet incredibly beautiful.
Carefree, playful, unconcerned, silly, slightly squeaky, and simply irresistible. Great for leisure time. Certainly not the last perfume from this brand that will find its way into my collection.

My Berry Scent
Oh Meliora, for some inexplicable reason, I knew you would be just as you are. Just your name sounds playful, cheerful, fruity in my ears. The first time you wafted into my nose, I knew immediately, I must have you. If someone engages with you, they will quickly realize that you are often compared to your actually older sister Amethyst. I paid little attention to this fact. You completely jumped out at me with your cheerfulness, yet you are also incredibly graceful, elegant, and delicate. I smell sweet, yet still natural berries (raspberries, blackberries, black currants) blended with a lot of jasmine tea and a hint of peony. Compared to Amethyst, you come across as sweeter and richer, and as mentioned, you have this beautiful jasmine tea note. You feel like my personal berry scent; I see myself reflected in you. I can distinguish between Delina and you by the bottle; yours is smoother, and I think that fits perfectly. The sillage is rather average for me, and the longevity is about 7-8 hours.
One day, I was producing or cleaning... and a motif with your name came to my mind. My dear one immediately said, "Do something with it!!!" My experience has shown that when this sentence is uttered, I must follow through. If something sticks in his ear, it must really be good. He cares as little about music as I do about football ;) the idea for a new perfume song was born. It has once again become a PDM. But it is indeed a coincidence and absolutely unplanned, as this is not my brand. Delina and Meliora are the exceptions and have touched me immensely. At the moment, there is no scent that inspires me so strongly that I want to package it into a song.
I consider my perfume songs a special form of fragrance review that I can conduct well as a visually impaired person. I cannot speak for everyone else.
Also here, I don't want to promote my track, but I would still be happy if you give it a listen.

this treasure deserves a second chance
But it wasn't the perfume itself. I ordered Amethyst for the first time in August 2019. The scent itself captivated me, but the longevity was so abysmal, lasting barely 2 hours on me, that this negativity affected my earlier pure scent rating, and it only received a 7.5. I might revise my statement from back then. In any case, the bottle ran out quite quickly. I had it checked off as a pretty, unsweetened berry scent, but it is far too fleeting. Last September, I tested Meliora and fell head over heels in love, and yes, they are sisters. They come, as everyone probably knows here, from the same perfumer, who created more or less the same scent for PDM five years after Amethyst's release, which we now know as Meliora. I don't need to tell you this; my friends love hearing the story from me :) So, I'm digressing...
Through Meliora, I gained a different perspective on Amethyst and reordered it this January as an additional affordable alternative to let it mature again. What can I say? I love it; it is perfect just as it is. Amethyst is Meliora in a calmer, grounded, and slightly floral version. Meliora also has a lovely jasmine tea note. Amethyst is incredibly graceful, gentle, fruity, but in an unsweetened way. In my opinion, it is the perfect berry scent overall, but not for gourmand junkies or fruit lovers, rather exclusively for everyone. Also suitable for those who don't like it too perfumey. Both for berry lovers and berry haters. Nothing stands out here; it refreshes and is simply there. The fact that it is quite close to the skin contributes a lot to this pleasant effect. However, the longevity is enormous compared to my first Amethyst. I perceive it for 8 hours. Nevertheless, my bottle is already half empty because it is a candidate that you absolutely cannot overspray. It is my creativity booster. Whenever I wore it, I had the impression that things, no matter in which area, always turned out particularly well for me. Thus, it has developed into my lucky scent and could be the perfect candidate for my stage scent. However, I can't bring myself to replace my beloved Delina with something else on stage.
The day before yesterday, I received a backup bottle of Amethyst. I occasionally buy perfumes again, but never when a bottle hasn't run out yet. I don't want to be without this perfume anymore. It is now in the closet and can start maturing in advance. A couple of friends who tested Meliora on my recommendation and, like me, are blessed with synesthesia later told me more or less in unison that they smell my voice in it, and yes, I feel a couple of aspects, even more so in Amethyst. Perhaps that is one of the reasons why it suits me so well, as I see a lot of myself in it.
Addendum 23.06.2024: I haven't used it for a month, let it be two. There is still about a quarter left. Just sprayed it on my arm and my God... The scent has matured even stronger and is now sweeter, richer. I once had a shower gel from Palmolive in 2015 with the lovely name "Feel Glamorous" and have been searching forever for a perfume that smells similar. Amethyst comes very close to that now! This density, this sweetness, these playful berries, yet I do not revise what I previously wrote. I raise it from 9.5 to 10.
Dear Meliora, I love you, but you now have even stronger competition. Had I known this, I would have written and released a song for this treasure here, but let's not kid ourselves, Meliora is simply more beautiful to sing about and deserves it. I'm floating away now...
