But it wasn't because of the perfume itself. I ordered Amethyst for the first time in August 2019. The fragrance itself thrilled me, but the durability was so subterranean, it barely lasted 2 hours on me, that this negativity affected my previous pure fragrance rating and it only got a 7.5. I may have to revise my statement from back then. In any case, the bottle ran out pretty quickly. I chopped it off as having had it once, quite a nice, unsweet bromine) berry) scent, but far too fleeting. I tested Meliora in September last year and fell head over heels in love and yes, they are sisters. As everyone here probably knows, they come from the same perfumer who, 5 years after Amethyst's release, created more or less the same fragrance for PDM that is now known as Meliora. But I don't have to tell you, my environment likes to hear the story from me :) So, I digress...
Meliora gave me a different perspective on Amethyst and I ordered it again in January this year as an additional cheap alternative and had it ripened. What can I say? I love it, it's perfect just the way it is. Amethyst is Meliora in a calmer, more grounded and a touch more floral. Meliora also has a beautiful jasmine note. Amethyst is incredibly graceful, soft, fruity, but in an unsweetened way. In my opinion, it is the perfect fragrance in the overall package, but not for gourmand junkies or fruit lovers, but for everyone without exception. Also suitable for those who don't like it too perfumey. For berry lovers and berry haters alike. Nothing stings here, it refreshes and is simply there. The fact that it is quite close to the body contributes a lot to this pleasant effect. However, the longevity is enormous compared to my first Amethyst. I perceive it to last 8 hours. Nevertheless, my bottle is already half empty, because it is one of those candidates that you absolutely cannot over-spray. It is my creativity booster. Whenever I wore it, I had the impression that I always managed to do things particularly well, no matter in which area. So it has become my lucky fragrance and could be the perfect candidate for my stage fragrance. But I can't bring myself to replace my beloved Delina with something else on stage.
A backup bottle of Amethyst arrived the day before yesterday. I buy perfumes occasionally, but never when a bottle has not yet run out. I don't want to be without this perfume anymore. It's now in the cupboard and is allowed to mature as a precaution. A couple of friends who tested Meliora on my recommendation and who, like me, are blessed with synaesthesia, later told me more or less in chorus that they could smell my voice in it, and yes, I can feel a couple of aspects, even more so with Amethyst. Maybe that's one of the reasons why she suits me so well, because I see a lot of myself in her.

...to my other Delina sisters, but from the beginning... Before I buy a fragrance, I always read up on it here. Your comments have left me perplexed. A distant Delina sister for 70 euros? Didn't exactly sound intoxicating. Of course, the question would be rational? Why another Delina sister? You have the original and two perfect alternatives for you, but the heart wants what it wants and mine wants Delina. no matter where, no matter how...I don't have to describe my love for her in detail here. I've expressed it often enough, and anyone who has read my review of her can imagine the approximate extent of it. But now back to this treasure. My loved one discovered it, I looked at a bunch of reviews and everyone was thrilled. I bought "Arte Bellissimo Romantic" and can share this enthusiasm 100%. I love Fatima and Souvenir Floral Bouquet and what I'm writing here is actually complaining at a high level. To my nose, this treasure here is Delina in ALL its facets. I wrote in my statement that the smoky, fruity notes are emphasized here, but that was deceptive at first. Here, everything is picked up by Delina, with the tiny difference that the juicy, fruity top note lingers a lot longer. For me, Delina is not sweet, not on the hunt, like the other sisters. For me, the Delina is with a little more blush on the cheeks. On my skin, both develop completely identically. To some noses, "Arte bellissimo Romantic" might seem more high-end and ethereal than Souvenir Floral Bouquet and Fatima, though neither comes across as artificial or inferior. I personally love all three.
Longevity and sillage are very similar to the original, maybe even a tick better. Arte Bellissimo Romantic lasts all day on me. I have fallen in love again️

One day while browsing I discovered this fragrance, did some quick research here and then ordered it a few days later. When it arrived it was love at first sniff, not a resounding one like Delina's, but love nonetheless. Ok, I realize I should stop measuring everything against her... So back to this treasure here. I smelled and tasted a strong coffee with milk and a hint of chocolate. The coffee has been sitting for a while, but is still reasonably hot. It could also be coffee chocolate or filled tartlets with coffee filling and peach jelly, so a delicious story. I don't know the original, and to be honest, I'm not interested in it. The fragrance progression is very linear, but I've never been bothered by that. I absolutely can't confirm the lousy longevity and sillage from my side. My boyfriend smells the fragrance when he walks into the living room and I'm at the other end of the room, and we're talking about a room measuring 21 square meters. However, I did make the mistake of overdoing the fragrance. A few hours later, I'm surprised at the restlessness and shakiness I feel. My body actually thought I had drunk several cups of coffee in one go and behaved accordingly. It even went so far that I had to help myself with relaxation exercises. I think this fact speaks volumes as to whether this perfume is a good coffee scent. For me at least, it does its job more than well, the value for money is unbeatable and I no longer feel the need to keep searching. There are fragrances where you want to get to know as many scents as possible, and there are some that interest you, but where just one scent would be enough. But maybe I'm the only one who feels this way. I've always been interested in coffee fragrances, but I've never really actively searched for a coffee fragrance, and now French Coffee has found me and makes me very happy. Absolutely great for layering, with NYCCrush from SJP or with Vanilla Banana from CSP, Yummy!

What have you done to me? I didn't think anything of it, you were supposed to be a reference for Souvenir floral Bouquet...I just wanted to know who you were and what I could expect. You just lay there as a sample and waited. I was currently working on the background pads for one of my songs and wanted to test you in between. The evening sun was shining through the window...
After the first millisecond you blew me away, you left me speechless with your beauty. I don't have the words to describe you soberly as a perfume, because it sounds too banal and doesn't do you justice. You are so balanced, so floral, but also juicy, fruity and a little smoky, with rose coming out the strongest. You make something inside me vibrate. You take me in like no other fragrance before, when I have you under my nose, everything else around me becomes blurred. I can smell you in the track I mentioned earlier, because you synaesthetically fit perfectly with some aspects of the background pads I was working on during your test. It didn't feel like an arbitrary connection of my brain, more like something from a higher power, because the pads also had smoky, shimmering and magical aspects to them sonically. Your scent always wafted from my wrist into my nose when I was producing...you burned yourself into me, I had to have you at some point and eventually you moved into my collection. Rationally speaking, you're not quite my cup of tea, I like it even fruitier, sweeter...yes, even more floral, but you're everything at once and even more, you're cheeky, wicked, engaging, sparkling, playful, but in no way childish, you're perfect. I have often fallen in love with fragrances, but I am obsessed with you. You turned my head so much that I had to write a song for you. I would have grabbed my own head at the idea of writing a song about a fragrance, but with you it felt completely right. As they say, love moves mountains and that doesn't necessarily exclude the love of a perfume. I really wanted to include a part of your essence in it and have incorporated your elements such as the sprayer, lids etc., so that others also have something of you. I recorded the vocals and wrote the lyrics under your influence to make it as authentic as possible. In general, you made me feel incredibly at peace with myself and for this reason you were often my scent on stage. You focused me on the moment. I was able to give my best even more with you. When it was hot and I was threatening to collapse, you kept me in reality with your delirious nature. You are all that is good, radiant, beautiful, intoxicating...that's how I imagine the effect of many a drug substance works. Once you're there, you don't leave so quickly...you definitely stay with me for 10 hours, I'm scent-blind as far as you're concerned, but you seem to leave quite a cloud. I realize that it sounds melodramatic, but you are the scent of my life because you break all dimensions. I didn't realize until now that a perfume could make me feel so strongly and I can't imagine ever loving a fragrance more.
You are Delina, you are more than just a perfume, you are a muse, you do incredible things!

A very dear friend, also a fragrance addict, drew my attention to Lisivanilli's statement, luckily for me...I had never seen Fatima before, there were no fragrance notes...how could it be otherwise, I ordered it immediately after a short further research. As soon as I read something that has to do with Delina Eau de Parfum, my inner Gollum goes into my treasure mode. Anything that seems remotely Delinaesque screams for me, or me for it? either way, I'm completely obsessed with it. I can't tell you what she does to me, but there is a before and after her...but will come elsewhere at some point and not in this review :D
Now to Fatima: She's not just good, she's amazing. As similar as the bottles feel and perhaps look, the perfumes are also very similar. Fatima is a little taller and wider and the engraving seems to be glued on. I once had the color described to me, but forgot
About the fragrance, Fatima is Delina! She's not trying to disguise herself as Delina or be her, she is. Just a different version of herself. Nothing is added here. While Souvenir floral Bouquet is Delina on the hunt, where the wicked side is emphasized, this is a lovely Delina who loves everyone and keeps her fire in check. In Fatima, the floral fruity notes are even more pronounced and make the overall impression somewhat lighter and more accessible. The scratchy side, the smoky sourness that might bother some, is very much reduced here, if not barely present, yet Fatima is by no means trivial. It is Delina with all her character traits, only Fatima emphasizes other personality traits.
For those looking for a sweeter, brighter Delina without compromising the Delina experience, here she is. I notice the strongest differences in the opening. Delina is right there, bam, with all her stunning beauty, her fire...Fatima is a little sweeter at the beginning, but develops very quickly into the dearer, identical twin sister. Hard to tell the difference. If no one knew you were wearing Fatima, they would think of Delina.
Value for money is insane, especially for the whole Delina experience. Souvenir Floral Bouquet and Fatima are in my opinion the best and above all equal alternatives, only for less money and I would recommend both without hesitation, but for those who can't pay the pretty penny for Delina or maybe don't want to, but want to experience the Delina feeling for a small price, rather reach for this one, because here not only the fragrance is right, but also the packaging, or rather the bottle. However, as already mentioned, I can only judge this from a tactile perspective.
It lasts about 8 hours on me, I can only judge the sillage moderately, but the overall impression is that it can be worn absolutely everywhere, even in everyday life. I love it very much and have to be careful, otherwise I would float through everyday life completely high. THE emotional effect is one of my assessment characteristics of a Delina sister. If she manages to evoke the same feelings in me as Delina, then I know for myself that she is good.
