Simply excellent
The great gift of knowing how to make perfumes well is knowing how to make them appreciate even those who are not lovers of certain raw materials. Creed knows it.

I appreciate vetiver, but too "simple" is not much. Here I can appreciate the simplicity and coherence of this brand.

Cleanliness, order and elegance first of all. Now I would know how to recognize him anywhere

Dark Aventus
Um, I'm not 100% sure, but I think this has nothing more than the first Aventus. The opening is definitely darker, smoky and sweetish.

I think the heart and the drydown are quite similar, but they veer towards a "shape" more similar to Roja's Apex genre, even though they are not similar.

So overall it's a good perfume, which definitely resonates because of the brand and the name it bears, let alone the criticism and adulation.

Maybe it's a little overpriced, but on this brand, the average target is not the one who buys perfumes for up to €100. So there it is

in - depth
After extensive testing, I have come to the conclusion that Krissana is truly spectacular. The oud types bring me back to the liquor sensation I get in Trnp's Garden of Pleasure, wonderfully dark and edible. Obviously they take two different paths, here more animalic and leathery, but very delicate and never aggressive. I perceive the jasmine, soft but dark (see Trnp) and the spices round out these components, warming them and creating this sweet and oriental accord. Beautiful and maybe below

in-depth - compare to Loup?
I would like to delve deeper after a test alongside Loup, the one chosen as an alternative to Varuek. I think it's a similar structure, as written about the house brother Prin, but quite different. Here I smell the spices a lot, especially the coffee, dark and animalic; something that is missing in Loup and therefore changes its structure and perception greatly. Here I feel a woody and spicy base with animalic and rather resinous nuances. The thing in common with Loup is the three-dimensionality and that it has a leathery accord. Difficult to choose, but I would say Varuek for quality/price.

in-depth - compare to Varuek?
I saw that many people have compared him to Varuek in some frag - coms. Maybe I can understand what they mean, the structure is similar. Sometimes I complained that Prin used formulas that were a bit repetitive at times, and this is still good because he has his own way of working. Here, unlike Varuek, I feel a more structured animalic part with a vintage soul very present. I find it dark, dark, with balsamic/floral hints with a very dense character. I struggle to smell spices, but the leathery accord that emerges on the rather smoky finish is well defined. Very nice even if overpriced. Then obviously everyone gives the value to the purchase.
