Wood, Iodine, and Leather
This is exactly how I perceive this fragrance. These are the three dominant notes in this composition: wood, iodine, and leather. This is a scent for advanced oud enthusiasts.

Grapefruit and raspberry bring very subtle fresh fruity-berry accents at the beginning, which quickly fade away and make room for the main characters.

Oud/wood has an iodine note here, which evokes medical associations of purity.
The good leather reigns and makes the whole thing much more interesting, provided you like leather.
Thus, the composition remains constant and does not change.
I can't particularly smell patchouli, clove, and nutmeg well, but that doesn't matter,
I don't miss them here.
Laamar is never sweet, at no time too intrusive, if you naturally enjoy strong scents.

I am totally satisfied and happy with this fresh, strong, intense, and long-lasting perfume.
It can be worn on different occasions; I find it universally applicable.
At any time of day and mostly during the cold seasons.
It is definitely unisex, although I use it the most.
And every time I wore it, I received compliments.

I find that Laamar, if it didn't have the leather and iodine notes, is very similar to Oudh Al Abiyad by Rasasi. I love that one too!

Laamar's bottle and packaging are very high-quality, everything fits perfectly and sits just right.
A stylish design!
However, I find the bottle a bit bulky for a smaller female hand; for men, it will definitely fit more easily in the palm.

Well, winter is coming to an end, and so is my Laamar.....
Thank you, Laamar, you have been a great support for me,
a remarkable, characterful oud and leather scent for adults!

The Bitter Rose
I could smell the rose aroma right when I unpacked it!
It's so strong!

There are an enormous number of roses in here.....nothing sweet and soft,
but rather chypre-like and a bit animalistic (right at the beginning, very background, very faint and very brief).
I must emphasize that the animalistic note is very slight and only lasts for about a minute, then it completely fades away.....
so there's no reason to worry if you don't like it.

Taif Roses is proud and sovereign!
I find it a very interesting combination.

It reminds me of Louban, the green rose.

Taif Roses starts off with a bang!
When this scent enters the room.....everything must stand at attention. It feels mobilizing, awakening...and instills respect.
I would most likely wear it all day in the summer.

Yellow roses to the max with slightly bitter mossy chypre notes.
It is very similar to the Tea Rose from Perfumer's Workshop....
To be precise, I perceive it as Tea Rose but much stronger, richer, and more opulent.
So strong that my husband feels nauseous from it.....unfortunately.
That's why I couldn't keep the perfume.

Is Taif Roses plump and intense? Yes, it is!
Once you've survived the opening punch....
you are left with an enormous amount of wonderful roses that smell aromatic on a mossy, slightly bitter base
all day long!

The projection and longevity are excellent in this case!

For the mature, established women with an independent character.....
and for the men who like rose chypres....
Taif Roses is an exciting, noble, distinctive rose scent....
A rose scent......like no other.

Until recently, this perfume was not available in Germany,
only now can you find it at i.parfümerie.

Since fragrance experiences are very individual, I definitely recommend a scent test before purchasing.

Addendum on 5.9.15:
Yesterday I received the new edition "Taif Rose" in a pink bottle. The scent is also somewhat different from what I remember. Has my perception changed or has the perfume itself? In any case, the new pink edition is significantly less bitter, just very subtle now. I also no longer find any resemblance to "Louban" or "Tea Rose".
The scent has become rounder, more opulent, and lovely. The oud note (in the background) now resembles "Moon Aoud", a bit like hot glue (not cow dung or goat cheese).
That’s exactly what makes "Taif Rose" a hot perfume now, as I stated.
Hot roses for cold days!

The Damascena Excellence
Bulgarian Rose Karlovo came to me from Austria. As a rose enthusiast, I was already familiar with many rose fragrances, but this one surpasses almost all Damascena scents.

So authentic, intense, and long-lasting!
The perfume comes with a strong spray from the smart, elegant 30 ml bottle, quite oily in its consistency due to the high perfume oil content.

You are immediately transported to its homeland, Bulgaria.....what an aroma, so many overwhelming roses exude their essence! So powerful!

I am in the wide rose field of Damascena!
A sea of red, velvety, ripe, truly plump roses, warmed by the June sun.....
What a splendor of roses with all their greenery, bringing freshness with them...

I wore the rose mostly during the day...and even more often in the evening,
to relax...to melt away...until one sinks into lovely rose dreams...

The next morning....my roses are still there....I can still feel the scent wafting.
Did I sleep in a bed of roses?

Bulgarian Rose Karlovo perfumes are not yet so established, you can still get them at quite reasonable prices.
In terms of presence, intensity, and longevity, I compare it to Montale fragrances. If such a scent composition were a Montale,
it would be called Red Roses Queen!

A Delicate Summer Fragrance
One can always be surprised by how wonderful fragrances in the affordable price range can be....from the 90s....and by Revlon.
It is a beautiful, fine, and long-lasting scent in EdT quality.
Despite its aura-like character, it is present enough....lasting for hours as a delicate whisper on the skin.....and in the room where it was sprayed, it can still be detected for a long time.
It reminds me of fragrances by Bulgari.

The freshness of grapefruit and mandarin, the delicacy of its flowers like magnolia and cyclamen (I don't smell rose here)
are intertwined, lightly spiced with ginger and cardamom...
complemented by almost invisible powder with a hint of musk and resting on light, soft wood.
Everything here is very fine, delicate, and well-balanced.

Thus, She....is a delicate fine summer fragrance, light green and refreshing, unsweetened as well as slightly spicy and....youthful.
She has a good recognizability....if I catch a whiff of it somewhere....I recognize it immediately.
It absolutely meets the demands of a hot summer day in any kind of activity like work, sports, socializing, beach....

Personally, I prefer bold and intense fragrances.
Nevertheless, I have really enjoyed She Cologne as a carefree, calm, refreshing, gentle, and non-intrusive companion.
I highly recommend it for lovers of fine and unobtrusive scents.

A Store Full of Freshly Cut Roses
I received both rose fragrances from Provence&Nature and Village at the same time.....
Both smell so wonderfully natural....so much great freshness and authentic
rose inside for a small price.....super performance!
However, there is a small difference between the fragrances......

Rose Village is significantly more intense....it comes across more splendidly, lasts longer on the skin...
It spreads such invigorating freshness that you wake up immediately after spraying....
I always used Rose Village in the morning.....my pick-me-up scent.....

I didn't know how to describe this note in the fragrance....and yet recently I was in the city, walked past an open flower stand and....
Wait a moment...that's it...that's exactly how Rose Village smells....this indescribably beautiful, natural freshness.....so airy...and yet so intense!
Freshly cut intensely fragrant roses.....that's Rose Village.....
I press my face into the bouquet...and can't get enough of it!

The bottle is already empty now...much faster than the Rose Eternelle.

I will get it again.....guaranteed...!
