'Wine flower'
An old magazine article that I still have about the launch of Gucci Envy in 1997 mentions that Gucci Envy is "inspired by the fresh delicate scent of the wine flower never before used for a perfume". Wine flower... Maybe they mean grape flower?... Maybe they mean grape blossom?... Maybe we will never know...

I'm sure this was a scent by Dutch model Frederique van der Wal
As I recall this was a perfume by Dutch fashion model Frederique van der Wal. However, I can't find anything about it on the internet, it's not even mentioned on her own website. I had a small bottle, it came in a cylinder shaped carton box with 'recycled paper' like the packaging of Benetton Tribu, very nice, classy but also modern. The scent itself? Hard to remember, but I think it was slightly green and unusual, but also warm. So I'm sure this was by Frederique van der Wal, but correct me if I'm wrong! After all it was 30 years ago ;-). Would love to smell it again for the good memories :-).

Found the notes of this perfume on an image I found, written on the box:
Iris, Mimosa, Freesia, Jasmine, Sandalwood, Amber, Tuberose

It was released as Cologne
