This is the 2nd Micheal Malul fragrance I’ve purchased. Let’s be honest. This is a clone house. Most of what they’re doing is heavily borrowing after other famous fragrances with a slight twist.
This one in particular smells 85% of Declaration by Cartier minus the BO note of cummin. It also smells like Narcisso Rodriguez.
I get moderate projection with MM’s typical garbage performance. Trust me, I’ve tested many of their offerings at this point and the pattern is all to apparent and quite disappointing.
My two bottles are more ornamental than being a daily reach. They’re there for me to want to burn some sprays at home and not in public. Then going back to collecting dust and to remind me from time to time… “Never Micheal Malul Again!”.

Fantastic on me!
I first had tested this at my local Nordstroms. The opening was alright. It’s grown on me. It was when in my car both my daughter and I noted the drydown was very nice. In fact magical off my skin.
I have other leather scents. But I like this because Ferragamo Intense Leather’s develops on my skin quite nicely, it’s that journey we all seek. I get that earthiness which at first smelled dirty but in a nice way. It gives that edge to this fragrances.
Then a leathery sweetness slowly fades in while the earthiness slightly fades into the background, but still lingers like a memorable kiss. I’ve produced music and this fragrance speaks to me. It has notes that pan in and out. But the sweet leather and Iris are always there till they gently fade together into this pieces sunset.
I’ve clocked this scent on my skin for 8-10+ hrs overall, again on my skin. It really clings to my skin and clothes. Peak performance? 4-5 hrs, again off my skin.
I’ve got Ombré Leather and its clones, but I prefer Ferragamo Intense Leather. Thats the way this fragrance hobby goes. Some fragrances just work, from the jump, even when doubted at first, or it grows on you. It’s like an individual and that specific scent were meant for each other.
