Avon Soft Musk
Comforting, nostalgic, full of memories, makes you yearn for yesteryear, for a time that no longer exists.
I am not usually a fan of powdery fragrances, per se. This one is the exception. Soft, cozy, dreamy.
Be warned, it'll make someone want to hug you.
It's a clean, fluffy musk, a soft rose and talcum powder. Blended beautifully with vintage flair vibes.
This is the perfume to wear when you're relaxing at home on a cool day, cuddled up in your favourite plush blanket, having a cup of herbal tea, while reading your favourite book.

Britney Spears Fantasy Sheer
The whole reason that I bought this was because most of the reviews here said that it resembled a lighter version of the original Fantasy, I love the og Fantasy but on occasion, the sometimes too sweet kiwi note gives me a headache.
Fantasy Sheer starts out with that same sweet cupcake note that we all know and love but where the original gives you that blast of kiwi, this one gives you a blast of citrus (to my nose, it smells like ruby red grapefruit.) I'm guessing that the combo of citrus with litchi is what's giving me the impression of grapefruit and it's so juicy and refreshing!
The overall feel is more light, fresh, zesty and indeed, sheer! I oversprayed because of it's softness but with 10 sprays, it lasted on my skin all day without a problem.
Once the fragrance dries down, it really is the same as Fantasy, just more breezy. The juicyness of the citrus isn't as pronounced throughout the drydown as it is upon first application but a hint of it does remain.
I personally love this and at 21.99 for a 100 ml. bottle, I have nothing to complain about.

Guerlain Shalimar Parfum Initial
Of all the perfumes I've ever tried, this was the one that I wanted to love the most.
I tried and tried through multiple wearings to make it work but in the end, I couldn't.
I thought it would be right up there with my beloved Dior Homme Intense (2011) and even though it does smell like a cousin, it's more powdery and the citrus really stands out to me in this.
It triggered a migraine every single time I wore it and it became evident that it just isn't for me (sadly.)
I have to be careful with citrus that comes off sharp on my skin and powder that takes over everything else, it just makes me feel suffocated and nauseous.
The Dior is blended better and smoother so I'll stick with that. It's truly my "desert island fragrance."
Such a shame for me but I'm sure the lucky person who I gave it to felt like they had won the lottery because this stuff isn't cheap!

Bath & Body Works Coconut Mint Drop
To me, this is a nice minty vanilla-ish coconut. It starts off more minty but eventually the mint fades out completely to a slightly musky, sweet, fluffy coconut (not a beachy coconut.)
I really enjoy it and I am surprised that they haven't brought this one back yet. I'd like to see them bring it back along with Toasted Praline & Pear and Raspberry Jam Donut. All three are sweet comfort scents for me.

Kylie Jenner Cosmic
This smells SO nice! I'm surprised by just how much I love this. My expectations weren't high, with it being a celebrity fragrance. They can be very hit and miss.
For me, I get a very fresh, clean smell, something that reminds me of how you'd want to smell after getting out of the shower.
It feels like an all-occasion/every season type of fragrance. A work-horse if you will. A scent that has the potential to get a lot of wear out of it.
It's blended well and is smooth, a little floral and a little sweet.
It makes me happy and because of that, I plan on upgrading my travel spray to a full bottle soon!
