When perfume makes friends
I would like to write comments again. Recently I was wondering if I could become a silent reader again. Some things I simply didn't like and I felt it better to avoid any form of communication.

So be it. My motivation has clearly increased again and I don't want to miss certain things. Among other things the souk as well as the function to tell people my personal opinion about scents.

Like last year, I ended up in Mexico. Different place, but again the same country. The hospitality, the quality and also the country as a whole convinced me. The weather was great, the sea turquoise blue and also the beer tasted good.
As always well equipped with perfume nothing could burn. At least odour technically :)

Small incision: Besides Santal majuscule I had the Chanel EDB with me and Havana from Aramis.

Especially SM does not fit into this time and into the climatic conditions. In general, I wonder whether perfume is "bearable" there in summer. The EDB was extremely overblown and got on my nerves. I should be taught the better.
- i digress-

One evening - incredibly oppressive - we went to the bar. Me without a perfume. On the way - the plant was huge and we wanted to go to our regular barkeeper - a group of young women passed us. So nice so good, but I heard a nice note of bitter cocoa, which had a slight floral touch when I smelled it more closely. I mumbled as I went on: "Santal majuscule, the woman has style.
The head-shaking looks of my boys - can start zero with my hobby - exposed, less than 5 seconds later one of the young women stood beside me and asked me: " I guess it could be wrong, but did you say Santal majuscule?"

The beginning of a friendship. Together with her friends we went to a common table and beyond that we spent our days there together.
We both talked about several brands, the fragrance compositions and the quality. She was happy to have met someone who shared a similar passion. I could agree with that and I was just as happy to be able to perceive fine sandalwood soaked with cocoa and a fine pinch of floral notes (rose) for a long time, despite the sultry weather.

Sometimes it's so easy, even though it seems so hard. How nothing at all emerges from weeks of conversations and then again such a short moment brings about friendships. It's the most trivial things that can create friendships. This includes simply looking well-groomed and smelling good.

But I love perfume.

Cleansing lemon bedded on delicious musk and tonka
I'm going to write this comment a second time. What do you mean? Because I was smart enough to place my lines with Eau Concentree. So be it. Comment deleted and...yes first nothing new written. In the winter not at all in my field of vision I have completely forgotten EB.

It hung up yesterday for ages. It clicked in my head. There was something! The missing evaluation. Lucky for Chanel, he gets away a little better now, even though he still can't fully convince.

The lemon. The goddamn lemon. From which detergent or toilet cleaner was it extracted and chemically prepared? Every time, it's torture for my nose. This stinging, this aggressiveness, this riot, this being brushed. And yet so synthetic and unusual. Old classics like pour Monsieur are so natural and fresh. I'll probably never get used to the prelude...
Thank God Moschus and Tonka will play along at some point and it will be very creamy. So really creamy lulling. Like I stuck my nose in a cake. Beginning with the phase, the fragrance is a dream and my wrist wanders continuously to my olfactory organ.

The shelf life is surprisingly good for a fragrance that is more likely to be placed in summer, although it is rather untypical and leaves the fresh citrus-floral realms. He shines well and is also very welcome to the outside audience.

Like I said, if it wasn't the awful lemon. She's gonna fuck up your top rating

Catcher of souls
Black Cube is less extraordinary, but all the more brilliant in its structure. Rarely have I been able to enjoy such a fine and, above all, harmonious experience together. The framework is definitely based on Epic Man, but, to my advantage, it is calmer and much more elegant. The positive circumstance that he gains through his reserved and fine character, however, unfortunately also holds the only point of criticism. It is very quickly only perceptible close to the body. Of course I just want to give myself to his beauty, but a bit more volume and power would do him good.

It really starts only minimally fruity and spicy. Mandarins in combination for pepper provide for the prelude. The soft smoke quickly joins it. Not sacral or heavy, but very gentle and courageous at first. Resinous notes and also oud perfectly balanced dominate the first time until the incense gradually gains strength and the scent hits harsher tones. In this phase Black Cube always reminds me of Jason Statham in The Expandables 2. Disguised as a pastor in a dark little church. A black cape. Completely inconspicuous and reserved, he develops into who he is. A dark, bitter type.
All this does not require tributes. Black Cube remains supple and continues to seek harmony. He does not appear aggressive or disturbing in any second but keeps his line as a backgrounder. Balanced, resinous-herbal, accompanied by incense.
At the base, he's friendly. Oud and woods ensure a smooth finish. Musk I can still guess and then it disappears sometime...

The scent is what Epic Man could have been. A perfectly and calmly balanced fragrance experience. What Epic Man has too much has been perfectly dosed here. A narcotic for nose and soul.
Unfortunately a very expensive one if it is not then in the offer.
The slight deductions in the B mark can be absorbed. The fragrance is great and very natural.
The best of Ramon Molvizar.

Objective view
Right now I'm in a little scent crisis. I've fallen into such a test frenzy at the moment that I forget to dedicate a statement or comment to the fragrances. Every day I lay siege to my nose, which has been crying out for rest for a long time. I treat this to her current and have been fragrance-free for 3 days.

Yesterday in the sauna I practiced reflection and the raspberry infusion provided the perfect anchor point: Arabi Cana. Disappeared in my memory pyramid (I love you Sherlock) I have collected all the information and have spiritually written a comment.

Here we are: Arabi Cana. Months ago Terra gave me a recommendation and after I found him in Jensemann's collection, I finally ordered him.
But now he has an opponent: Tuscan Leather. Initial difficulties with him became euphoria. Maybe I didn't want to buy AC because I was afraid he could buy the cutting edge from TL.

Both start about the same. Raspberry note at the beginning, but with a distinctly different orientation. While TL is still very scratchy at the beginning, the raspberry in Arabi Cana is very harmonious. After a few minutes, the raspberry in TL becomes softer. The difference I noticed was that TL's raspberry seemed stronger and fuller. On the other hand, Arabi Cana seemed a little watery.
Asbald joins the leather of both. Here, too, a distinction must be made. In TL, the leather is only active in the background and serves as an undertone for the raspberry. In AC she is a great player, who is not only perceptible on the edge, but finds a harmonious balance to the raspberry. In principle, AC in this phase also has a sweeter effect than TL.
With AC it's the leather that catches the coke and fire and is accompanied by sweet woods.
The smoky in TL conveys the incense, which despite the absence of sweet perfectly succeeded.

Which is the better one. Prices do not have to be discussed. I could have saved myself every line, because then TL would not have been allowed to compete at all.
Viewed objectively, both are on the same wavelength. Both have a great quality and a well coordinated fragrance development. AC would be perfect for me if the raspberry was fuller at the beginning. TL if the raspberry was a little softer.

But that's high level whining...
