First of all: The fragrance is extremely strong, the scent inevitably takes over the whole room.
Longevity is bombastic, perhaps even a little too strong. Even the 2-hour fitness session + cardio left the impression that I had just sprayed it on.

It's definitely not a fragrance for all occasions. It smells extremely strong and stings a little in the nose at first. It evokes the association of an evening by the fire, with fragrant wood being chased through a poorly insulated fireplace. I imagine the image of a hunter in a lumberjack shirt sitting in front of the fireplace in the evening, sipping his whiskey.

The fragrance is very spicy, leathery and somewhat smoky/woody with a slightly sweet undertone.
Personally, it is unfortunately too strong for me and I couldn't think of any occasion when I would wear it again.

Overall price performance, however, really okay, because the durability and sillage are enormous and you certainly smell the whole room full. In terms of smell, nothing for me. But it remains a matter of taste.

I tested the fragrance in the perfumery and was thrilled. As the title suggests, it is somewhat unusual. I hardly know any fragrances that have such a pleasant oud undertone as the Gritti Super Nova. It smells very fresh at the beginning and moves towards oud over time.
I usually shy away from oud, as it can sometimes just smell like a cowshed, but that's not the case here at all!
The scent is and remains fresh and pleasant, so it's also a good scent to wear in the evening in summer to go out.
It smells very elegant and in my opinion gives off the business man flair.
The bottle is unfortunately mediocre and the sillage and durability are okay. However, since I would only wear this fragrance in the evening, it is more than sufficient. And here again the important (general) tip: test it on the skin, if you test it on a strip of paper it doesn't unfold what it can do.

Wonderful fragrance! Unfortunately, I dropped the sample after a day and it shattered.
The rum in combination with the tonka bean and tobacco provides an almost perfect base.
The lime rounds off the whole thing perfectly. Unfortunately, the shipping costs on the official website are extremely high, so it is relatively difficult to get it cheaply.
Clear recommendation to buy!

Baccarat Rouge was my first expensive perfume. When I smelled it I was immediately in love, my wallet wept, but my olfactory senses came to a climax. I thought I had found the perfect perfume. I got compliments from everyone, it was wonderful and I couldn't get enough of the scent myself. I sometimes got out of bed just to smell the bottle, it was incredible!
Unfortunately, at some point I found out that I wasn't the first person to discover this perfume a few years ago. And with the hype came the masses of fake perfumes.
The original is wonderful, it smells very sweet and makes you feel like a million dollar baby, it's simply amazing.
Anyone can wear it! Whether man or woman.
Now back to the basic problem:
There are too many fakes. If you like this perfume as much as I do, I highly recommend buying the original. However, there are really many fakes for 20 euros that make you doubt whether you really want to spend 400 euros on it. From time to time I smelled it everywhere, it never stopped. Even in the gym, where the actual stench of sweat was normally impossible to miss, there was a Baccarat Rouge (FAKE!) on every corner.

Very very sad, in my opinion a wonderful fragrance with an extremely strong longevity and sillage that you can expect from such a price.

Would I recommend it as a new purchase? -Definitely.

Would I still recommend it today? - In terms of smell, yes, but once you have it, it's constantly annoying to notice any cheap fakes around you. But maybe that's just my personal vanity.

A colleague of mine wore this fragrance and I couldn't get it out of my head. It was an early part of the beginning of my perfume collection.
The fragrance is wonderful for cold summer nights or for dates, it smells fresh and spicy at the same time. The aniseed and lavender are clearly noticeable with the vanilla providing a gentle undertone.
Sillage is usually somewhat underrated here. In my opinion, the fragrance does not project as strongly when you are not moving, but I am of the opinion that everyone you walk past will notice this fragrance.
It has something elegant and yet something unusual at the same time. The bottle is mediocre, although the lid looks quite classy. Overall, however, I would rate the fragrance as a good starter fragrance if you are still looking for an inexpensive evening perfume for the summer evening.
