Bad Boy or Mother-in-Law's Favorite?
First of all, this fragrance truly brings compliments! Everyone knows it; according to YouTubers and influencers, compliments are practically pouring in. In reality, they are quite rare.
My fiancée's friend was visiting. She walked in the door and immediately asked what smells so good. My fiancée's mother recently pulled me aside and asked what perfume I was using. She has been smelling it the whole time and thinks it's fantastic. My fiancée loves it and could throw her arms around me every time. I also received compliments at various events.
This fragrance starts with a pleasant mint note, which is immediately underscored by warmth and sweetness. I am not bothered by this explosive opening at all. On the contrary, I feel directly in a positive mode.
In the drydown, it remains sweet, warm, gourmand, with a slightly woody and oriental note. The lavender plays a floral note that harmonizes beautifully with the honey and tonka bean. A masculine sweetness that screams for attention.
The longevity and sillage are outstanding! Longevity easily 10h - 14h. The sillage is perceived by the surroundings for a long time. Personally, I use 4 - 5 sprays and stand out for a very long time. The price/performance ratio is also very good! I got 75 ml for €53 at Flaconi (with discount code).

Classic with Weaknesses
Armani Code is a classic for me, one that I have liked for several years.
The new release immediately caught my attention. It starts off sweet, fruity, with a pleasant spiciness. Additionally, it has a slightly powdery quality, which I really like. It remains this way for the next hour. Unfortunately, it becomes quite linear, and after about 2 hours, I only pick up tonka bean and a bit of leather.
The scent itself is not the weakness, but rather the performance and sillage, which unfortunately only score mediocre. I can smell it on my skin for about 4 - 5 hours. Sillage is good in the first hour, but hardly present afterwards.
If Armani had improved this, it would have been the release of the year for me.
My girlfriend loves it nonetheless, and if you find a good deal, you can buy it without hesitation. For going out or evening events, it works too much in the background for me. I find this very unfortunate because the DNA is very appealing and fits perfectly with a black suit.
