Lotus pond
Opens up with slightly aquatic hand soap type of feeling with lotus mixed in there, but this sensation is short lived.
Right after this sensation you get introduced to the earthy feeling and other floral elements to give you sensation of sitting near an pond that has flowers and lotuses in it.
Overall it achieves what its trying to portrait of being, but would I want to smell like this?
The answer is simple, I would not, execution is great but scent profile is just not something to be desired of.
Beautiful rendition of leather and birch tar
The scent opens up with very nice birch tar accompanied by castoreum, few spices and beautiful elegant rosewood. Slowly but surely the birch tar starts to give more room for the beautiful florals, such as rose and orange blossom. Luckily for me the birch tar and leathery feeling never truly fades away but rather remains the powerful central force backed by the elegance of florals
Bright Chypre
Right from the first spray even without smelling the skin the room is filled with bright citrus, dominant black spruce and nice soft chamomile and ounce of bright pink pepper. It gives the scent this bright green spicy radiance, that feels calm yet bright and spicy.
Once it starts to dry down more elements come out most noticeably fir balsam and Bulgarian rose, bringing an bright red glow to the scent. At the very base you get the classic chypre elements such as, labdanum, moss and patchouli giving it earthy feeling with nice incense bright glow at the top.
Spicy&Aromatic musk
The scent opens up with beautiful aromatic/soapy vibe, which comes from combination of aldehydes, deer musk, eycalyptus and grapefruit, some other elements can be noticed aswell such as lavender and vetiver. After it starts to drydown more elements start to shine, Frankincense and vetiver accompanied by oakmoss and florals start to give the base more woody and spicy feel. Scent settles at this very nice spicy and musky feel with nice aromatic feel to it.
Tangerine Bubblegum with hints of coffee/tobacco
To me this opens up with soft bubblegum type of sweetness, which has mainly prominent tangerine/vanilla touch to it. There are also some tobacco and coffee, but to my nose they remain in the background. Overall the scent profile to me is Sweet and soft.
Overall its a solid fragrance but the name left me hoping for something more, which never arrived.
