Call me basic, but some days, I crave Creed's Aventus.

Some days, I need that pineapple and pink pepper sparkle that bursts from the opening with hits of citrus and bergamot.

I love how it dries down after an hour and warms up to a jasmine and patchouli scene that holds that pineapple throughline, which stays for a little longer. The spike of ambergris hammered through the center of it grounds me throughout. All the while, notes of cedarwood, musk, and oakmoss play on and off the stage.

It wakes me up. It keeps me going strong all day. I feel confident and commanding. Sexy yet stern and clean. Sweet and sour. Good times. I know it is trendy, but some days, I crave it. So it's my scent of the day on this rainy Friday.

As I put the fragrance on, I was immediately struck by the nose-tingling burst of lime and pink pepper. It was a refreshing and invigorating start to the fragrance. As the scent settled on my skin, I could smell the woody vetiver, which gave it a warm and comforting feeling. The cypress and amber notes enhanced the woody scent, making it even more complex and mature.

What I love about Vetiver in Oak is that it's not a typical masculine scent. It's challenging but in a good way. It's a unique fragrance that stands out from the crowd. I must also mention the gorgeous bottle, which is a bonus.

I've never been to Ireland (although I do have some Irish heritage). I have been in a Kentucky old-growth forest after a cleansing spring rain, taking photos in my element. Green Irish Tween brings me back to that moment.

GIT has a fresh, green, citrus, floral opening that is good for waking you up and preparing you for business. It progresses to a lavender/violet base with a clean, soapy throughline that leads to a lasting sandalwood and oakmoss finish with hints of the previous acts.

Green Irish Tweed is a beautiful spring scent that leaves you smelling fresh and clean all day. Bring on the vernal awakening!
