Bold Blackcurrant Brilliance

Supremacy in Heaven offers a strikingly realistic and intense blackcurrant note that takes center stage. Projects hard

This is one of, if not the, hardest projecting fragrances I have smelled.

I sprayed it on a piece of paper and I could smell it projecting hard for hours just sitting on the desk.

Today I sprayed it on my sleeve and I still smell it quite clearly 12 hours later without having to bring it to my nose.

To me it smells like it has a strong melon note.

I agree with the below comment as saying it smells like green tea, ahhh yes it does smell like green tea.

I like it.

BergaMOTTE in the Opening? But a Gentle Finish.

The top note reminds me of something, I can't quite put my finger on it, but I would get rid of it if I found it in my fridge. Maybe it's the bergamot, or the mandarin was bad???

The heart note that follows shortly after is noticeably more pleasant. You can perceive the green tea, a bit of the blackcurrant, and the woody notes only appear very lightly in the background.

In short, if I had tried the perfume directly in the store, it would have ended up back on the shelf for now; the opening, in my opinion, is unsuccessful, but everything else in the scent progression is pleasant, not intrusive, I would describe it as light.

I tested the scent in direct comparison to Rasasi's - Al Wisam, which I believe is the better fragrance. Al Wisam is even more appealing, rounder (I think the geranium contributes to this), although this one also rains down on you in the opening with a strong breeze of alcohol, it is still more pleasant and also more balanced in the progression.

It should be noted, however, that I would not accuse either of them, or rather, grant them the status of being an SMW clone. Not at all...

EDIT: The longer I compare the two, the more unsympathetic Afnan's "in Heaven" seems to me, or am I being unfair to the scent...?
