Grün, würzig, komplex
Einer der interessantesten Düfte für mich.
Manchmal tritt die grüne Note mehr in der Vordergrund, dann wieder die pudrig-würzige.
Als Bild: Eine verlassene Insel. Es befand sich mal eine große Stadt auf der Insel. Sie wird als Versteck eines reichen und mächtigen Schurken verwendet, der das luxuriöse liebt. Die Gebäude sind alle verlassen und von wilden Pflanzen überzogen. Es hat 35 Grad.

A Tomato Plant to Spray On
I stumbled upon this fragrance after receiving a free sample as part of a promotional campaign. I'm quite glad about this coincidence because this scent has quickly become one of my current favorites.
SCENT:
When I close my eyes after applying the fragrance, I am instantly transported back to my childhood. In the small town where I grew up, there is an Italian restaurant. It was run by an old Italian gentleman. He grew his tomatoes in the restaurant's garden, and when I was little, we were sometimes allowed to play there and take home fresh tomatoes. This fragrance perfectly reflects that. Fresh tomato plants and a hint of earth. It truly is a "Memory in a Fragrance" for me.
The scent is very sweet when it is still in the bottle. To be honest, smelling the bottle doesn't really appeal to me. Too intense and sweet. But this fragrance really unfolds when applied to the skin and has had some time to develop.
The initial sweetness fades quite quickly, and you are left with the fresh scent of tomato leaves, with a hint of citrus and slightly spicy notes. It smells quite natural to me.
LONGEVITY & SILLAGE:
I'm unsure how to quantify my experience here. I would start by mentioning that it is one of the perfumes that my friends perceive more strongly and that I have been approached about. Whether this is due to the unique nature of the fragrance or the sillage, I do not know. In terms of longevity, I would say it is quite good. I like it when my fragrance is at least slightly noticeable to me. If I apply this scent at 9:00 AM, I would probably want to reapply about 6 or 7 hours later and be done for the day. In comparison: ADP Fico de Amalfi would need a reapplication after about 4 hours. However, I often feel that my experience regarding longevity differs from that of others.
BOTTLE:
Maison Margiela sprayers are great. They look perfect, work well, and you can unscrew the sprayer part. For me, the optimal sprayer (except when traveling).
I am !very! satisfied with this fragrance and hope it receives the recognition it deserves.

My Current Favorite for Summer 2024 :)
I might be a bit late to the party, but after wearing this fragrance extensively over the past few weeks, I want to share my thoughts on this fresh scent!
FRAGRANCE:
When I apply this fragrance, I think about what it feels like to go to a restaurant for dinner after a day by the pool on the Amalfi Coast. It represents for me the warm summer sun and the relaxed lifestyle by the coast. I really like this scent a lot.
Personally, I mainly smell a blend of sweet fig and grapefruit notes. It’s quite sweet for a unisex fragrance in my opinion.
LONGEVITY & SILLAGE:
The longevity is not particularly good. I would say that after 4 or 5 hours, I can’t really smell it anymore. The sillage is also not outstanding. However, you can still smell it close to the skin for a long time, which makes it more of a personal scent for me. What I really like about this fragrance is that during those 4 hours, I occasionally get an intense whiff that reminds me immediately of the vacation images in my mind that I described earlier. That’s quite unique for this perfume for me.
Bottle:
I really like the look of it. I appreciate the design language of Acqua di Parma. The sprayer works well too. However, the bottle cap is terribly cheap.
I think ADP should use a really nice, possibly blue leather cap with magnets for this bottle line. That would be a major upgrade and make the entire collection my absolute favorite collection.
IN SUMMARY:
This is one of my favorite fragrances at the moment, and better longevity as well as a different cap for the sprayer could make this scent my absolute favorite summer fragrance.
