The fragrance A Garden in Cythère smells wonderful, at least it seems that way to me.
I can tell you that it is a very peculiar aroma that may not be to everyone's taste.
The exit is very citric, a very pretty slightly sweet lemon. I feel the pistachio next to a cumin, this may be the part that people like the least. Cumin gives that sensation of body odor… but immediately the woody and smoky olive notes appear. On my skin there are subtle aquatic notes sweetened even by the lemon at the beginning, I think this part is magical.
I hope you like it. You'll tell me...

I know that you enjoy almond fragrances - have you tried Beloved's Brown Sugar & Toasted Almond at Target? It was surprisingly lovely, and dried down to a really cozy toasted almond! Another great fall cheapie 🍁❤️

My Rules for Me

1. Ignore the hype- always.
.
2. No Eau de Parfum FBs over $X. This doesn't necessarily apply to Extraits.
.
3. No blind buys over $X.
.
4. Explore, Experiment, Share!
.
5. Niche is nice but frequently overpriced and also prone to gimmicks. TEST TEST TEST!
.
6. Celebrity scents can be good, inexpensive scents. Do not dismiss, unless they're expensive.
.
7. No multi-level marketing scents.
.
8. If the brand or fragrance names sounds like they were given by 10 year-olds, trying to shock their parents, I ain't buying.

9. We all like what we like, which actually really cool.
.
10. Don't be a scofflaw when you make the rules.

@KathrynA66 excellent rules all around! 👏 I normally try to avoid hype too, but will give in if I can test it for free in stores - or if I can find a sample/decant/FB for dirt cheap. I'm curious, what MLM scents are out there? I haven't heard of them (aside from Scentsy) until your list, but now I want to know what they are to make sure I can avoid them too! 😬

I survived a heart attack 7/23
GENTLMEN: Never ignore chest pain or shooting pain in your left arm.
LADIES: Never ignore unusual or possibly intense pain in your jaw or in *either* arm or your chest, back or abdomen. Our symptoms and warning signs are different than those of men. We may not get any pain cues at all. Please, please get your blood checked annually for cholesterol etc. For American women without insurance: if you are a student, your university/college/some trade schools will help you with free or low-cost tests. Whether or not you are a student, contact your County or State Health Dept, who can help you with lower-cost lab work. You may also want to look up low-cost or free clinics in your area, including Planned Parenthood which provide "Well Woman" exams. Take care of yourselves!
