I cannot understand all the negative reviews - it is a good fresh - soft - woody - elegant everyday scent. Moreover, for a designer fragrance, it is even interesting, as it is not just a sweet monotony. The combination of fruity-citrus, lilies, and soft wood captivates me!

In the opening, fruity acidity can be detected, a combination of lemon and pear, but not the whole fruits, just individual characteristic notes of the fragrance ensemble. Additionally, there is a subtle, fruity sweetness noticeable.

Over time, the scent evolves, the young fruit trees grow and become woody, and freesias join the fruits - although I thought I also detected lilies. The flowers give it a feminine elegance, but the scent remains refreshing due to the fruits.

The base is woody - creamy - soft, I cannot pick out individual fragrance notes, but the combination is soothing and grounding at the end of the workday.

I really find this scent absolutely underrated and also suitable for unisex. Especially in everyday life, it works well; I have been told several times by colleagues that I smell good.

Sure, it sometimes reminds me of shower gel, but not of the typical 0815 maritime shower gel, rather of a sport shower gel with birch and woods. So actually less classic shower gel and more just clean-woody.
The clary sage and basil are still noticeable over a longer period, adding spice and depth to the composition.

In contrast to the classic masculine sporty clean scent, the lily of the valley offers an unexpected contrast, which I believe is the key quality of this fragrance. Because of this contrast, the scent feels unusual and well thought out despite its likability, giving it a very valuable aroma.

The longevity is very good; applied in the morning, it is still noticeable in the evening. The perfect everyday scent in the sense that it shows no weakness during the day, but is almost gone by the next morning. I can't quite assess the sillage. However, since I was approached by colleagues, I would assume that it is decent.

If you're looking for an affordable everyday fragrance that is pleasant yet interesting, slightly unisex, clean, but also well-scented: go for it!!

I'm rolling another one. The light of the campfire flickers, but these routine movements would be easy for me even in complete darkness. The mulled wine in the plastic cup next to me has a strong scent of clove, and I realize I've poured in too much cheap rum. I stuff my rolling gear into my jacket pocket, light my cigarette at the campfire, and take a pleasurable first drag.

I cough. Did someone mix something into my tobacco? Debris, perhaps? The smoke stings in my throat, in my nose. I try to soothe my throat with the mulled wine, but it only gets moderately better. The wind blows in my direction, my eyes water, I close them.

I wake up in my sleeping bag, it's cold. The smell of the campfire clings to my skin, but it is accompanied by a sweeter, pleasant component. Maybe it's remnants of the mulled wine, or perhaps marshmallows were roasted over the fire yesterday, I can't quite remember. I feel a bit gross from sleeping outside and from the fire, but right now it's very cozy in my sleeping bag, and I snuggle back in.

Overall, this describes my scent journey quite well. I was really looking forward to my bottle of By the Fireplace, as I am also a fan of Tom Ford's Tobacco Vanille, but I found the smoky aroma to be really piercing at first, and I had to sneeze multiple times. Over time, it became more bearable; after a few hours, I would describe the scent as pleasantly spicy-sweet-smoky.

Unfortunately, the scent is not for me; I've had enough campfire smell with the scouts. Nevertheless, I think that, apart from the piercing top note, it is a well-made fragrance. It delivers what it promises, and the development is nice. If used sparingly, I can imagine that others would enjoy it.
The longevity is good, the sillage too, so better not to overspray.

At first, you notice citrus-sweet notes. After a few minutes, the fragrance shifts to a more floral-creamy direction, with the bergamot taking a backseat. Throughout the day, the scent becomes softer and creamier; I can smell vanilla and woody notes among others. These are accompanied by a scent background that my nose can't quite identify, but it perfectly rounds off the composition and makes it sexy.

The perfume develops really beautifully, which surprises me in this price range; the longevity and sillage are also good.
I really enjoy wearing this scent and do so quite often, and even my mother, who usually doesn't like perfumes, likes it. Definitely a must try!!

Continuing my search for affordable drugstore perfumes, I prowled the drugstore I trust.
So, I stand in front of the shelf, all the perfumes somehow the same, typical drugstore. Then, just as I’m about to leave, I see one last women's fragrance that I don’t know yet, half-hidden among the men's perfumes. Of course, I become curious, as someone (hopefully) must have thought this through; maybe the scent is different from the usual 0815 floral fragrances, a bit more unisex?

I sniff the new fragrance and am not disappointed. First, the citrus note from the bergamot, then a more robust scent that is still accompanied by floral accords. The composition seemed familiar - the scent definitely strongly resembles L'Interdit.

Naturally, I purchased the fragrance - a bargain at that price - and immediately sprayed it on at home. The scent hardly develops, but despite the price, there is no sharp or cheap-smelling note. The longevity is good, the sillage is decent, but not to the extent that uninvolved civilians become collateral damage.

I can recommend the fragrance if you are looking for something elegant for little money, but also a little bit outside the norm.
