Fields at Nightfall Zara

Opening smell is very good but the dry down is irritating for me. Yes, it's smells like coconut oil in drydown and that smell stays for long, 5 to 6 hours. This time I bought an extremely wrong zara perfume. Regretting if I would picked up either the hibiscus or pink flembe.
In winter time you can try his for experiment. But in summer time and day time never ever dare to try it.

Fluffy lactonic musk fragrance- even though nothing in the notes suggest that. It´s very smooth, creamy, not sharp in any way. Jasmine sometimes dominates fragrances, but I think here it has more of a supporting role. Sandalwood is there in the background too, adding the smoothness. And what does praline smell even like? Every time I see it, I think I will get something sickly sweet but this is not that at all.

It smells like a moon elf or a unicorn bathing in moonlight to me, it’s so fantastical. It starts of lactonic and sweet then dries down really woody and creamy from the sandalwood and it lasts forever on your skin and clothes. It is also known as a dupe for the Z&W this is her but honestly this is ten times better, save your money and buy this instead.

I tried to love this perfume but alas, it is not for me.
There is something about it that I find cold and unwelcoming. I don't feel like I'm wearing the fragrance, I feel like it's wearing me. An alienating scent. I wore it on at least five different occasions and I just couldn't get with it.
I find it sharp and harsh, even though there's no musk in this, something in it gives me a musky vibe that makes me feel nauseous. I'm starting to realize that sandalwood is a challenging note for me on my skin. I prefer a very soft sandalwood that is well blended.
I have so many fragrances in my collection that it makes no sense to keep anything that's "middle of the road" so the two bottles I have of this are being passed along.

Today, Fields at Nightfall has joined my collection. The similarity to Her Zadic and Voltaire is actually only present in the first few seconds. Honestly, I only notice it when I take off the cap and smell the sprayer. Upon first application, the resemblance cannot be denied, but soon the fragrance develops in a somehow more pleasant way, and the chestnut that is so prominent in Voltaire dissipates. It is excellent as a cozy gourmand everyday companion. Time and again, sandalwood and sensual amber scent waft through the air. Personally, I don't perceive any praline scent at all. Jasmine is only subtle. A beautiful perfume regardless of the season. Zara has really created something lovely here.
