The Rock in the Surf
That is exactly what this fragrance is, a rock in the surf.
Regardless of whether it is well-known or not... - Whether overly advertised or overrated... This scent truly works all the time. - For both young and old.

The much-quoted and discussed spice only comes to the fore after the strong aqua notes that open the fragrance fade away. A flagship of modern Fougère fragrance variants. - Clearly recognizable is the overdose of Ambroxan. Here it is very well executed compared to Montblanc Explorer and the Beast - Versace Dylan Blue.

What speaks against the fragrance is the lack of a unique selling proposition (USP). - Those expecting something unique and unmistakable will be disappointed here. - A classic through and through, it will still be around in 5 years.

Must Have | Citrus-Spice Cabinet | Mega Balsam Fir Combo |
Tested today at Müller (17.01.2026)
For all perfume lovers, an absolute must-have scent for an unbeatable € 15.- (hidden at the very bottom).

Together with Exquisite Leather, very finely executed. - You wouldn't believe it’s from David Beckham.
The rest of David Beckham's line was also tested, with that you can, in good Austrian terms, "go take a dump".

Super clean freshness at the beginning, even though the citrus scents don’t seem very high quality (essential oils), the combo with the balsam fir and cinnamon leaf is perfectly executed.
Even after wearing it for a longer time, the components are still present, including a perfect transition with tonka bean and amber, the woods with the spice, insane.
Unfortunately, I can't smell a garden here; the floral scents are completely missing.

Definitely a purchase recommendation

Must-Have | Spicy Leather | Unbeatable Price
We were at Müller today and this mega scent is available for an unbeatable € 15.
Awesome!

Very fresh opening (definitely give it some time). While you desperately search for the raspberry, the green apple combined with the spicy citrus of pink pepper is immediately present.
Wonderful moss with pleasant cashmeran and leather. - Silky and clean, no "dirty" touch, rather the "cuddle mode".
As mentioned in some videos on YouTube, this is a must-have for every perfume lover.

It should also be said that the classic David Beckham line can go "take a shit" in good Austrian... - Bottled / Beyond / Respect / Instinct... - Nobody needs that...

Nostalgic Gum
You read that right, the combination of green apple and tonka bean takes me back to nostalgic times. - A gum I remember from my childhood (brand not mentioned!).

With this fragrance, Lattafa doesn't invent anything new, even though the craftsmanship is well done.
For me, the davana (mugwort) was completely new. - It smells really interesting here, but it also doesn't allow the rose to make an appearance, which you search for in vain here.

The interplay between tonka bean and vanilla gives this classic soft gourmand scent. - Quite well executed.

Please don't forget, the oriental signature of Lattafa is also present here. - Desert bazaar, heavy and oriental.

Fresh Moss in the Desert
Just as the title suggests, the fresh moss is present here, which seems strange in the oriental fragrances from Lattafa.

At the same time, I must give great praise, because this moss has been very well executed here - Fresh!
Unlike other modern men’s fragrances, where the Veramoss from IFF creates a mystical, smoky moss, we have a fresh variant here.

The integration of blackcurrant and rose is well done, and the fresh moss would create a good landscape, yet I will not become a fan of it, as the heavy, oriental, bazaar-like scent profile from Lattafa again overwhelms any image of a fresh forest edge or a garden.
