Jazzy fireplace under the stars

my immediate thought after first smelling this one was:

"Whoa, is this a REPLICA clone?"

and I'm still not sure if that's an adequate way to put it. There are some striking similarities to "by the fireplace", "jazz club", and "under the stars". To me, it feels like a combination of the trios' nicest elements.
You get that leathery, smoky opening, but it fades rather quick and leaves you with a spicy, boozy caramel-ish scent that is very soothing and warming.
After 3-4 hours you're left with woody musky remnants.
Great for cold & rainy days for anyone, regardless of gender identity

But ultimately, I decided to call this perfume an "hommage" to the named trio of Maison Margiela.
And if you were interested in trying any of the three but you're unsure which one to pick, maybe try this one instead!
And who knows, maybe you'll stay at the jazzy fireplace during a starry night

Tame leather scent - Please do not take off

Okay. Another mini influencer hype on the way. Hence the detailed review. The current rating of 8.2 is completely exaggerated.

The fragrance is certainly worth buying for the list price in Rossmann, P/L is also really okay. But people, please don't take off.

The fragrance is sweet, slightly fruity and leathery. But it doesn't smell much more expensive than it is. Or you can see from the fragrance how cheap leather fragrances are to produce. A wink in the direction of Tom Ford follows...

Since the Dupe houses have shown how cheap such good things can be, there are also better fragrances in the discounters and drugstores. That is good. But the cheapest ingredients remain and you can smell that.

The opening of Exquisite Leather is mmn the best thing about the fragrance. Because as soon as it has settled a little, it becomes clear that pure synthetics have been applied here. At some point, the sweet leather sourness just got on my nerves.

Based on the price/performance ratio, you can buy the fragrance and even wear it. But anything over 7.0 is simply a complete miss. Not because cheap can't also be good, but because the fragrance doesn't smell as good as such a rating would justify.

Yes, influencers are hyping it right now. That's why I took a look at it. It smells good and it didn't make me take off.

A sweet leather flatterer

When the rumor of this fragrance came up, I became curious and tried it out in the drugstore around the corner. My first impression was positive, so I didn't hesitate at the price and picked up a bottle.

I find the packaging and the bottle simple, but very appealing. The color of the fragrance goes very well with the notes described.

When I wear it, the leather notes are clearly in the foreground. There is a minimal hint of fruitiness and a very slight whisky note, but without being too boozy/alcoholic. The progression is quite linear with a tendency towards sweetness. In my opinion, the fragrance goes well with a classic Chesterfield armchair or a soft leather jacket.

The longevity and sillage are absolutely fine in relation to the price - not a "beast", but also not a quickly fading fragrance. Definitely suitable as an introduction to the leather fragrance segment.

Absolute favorite when it comes to leather fragrances. (For the small price)

I have tested the whole range of new fragrances. This leather fragrance is by far the best of the release. It smells like a leather jacket, but not too overpowering. You can imagine it as if someone bought a new leather jacket and walked in front of you. You can smell it very subtly. It's super elegant at the same time. Not intrusive. You can visualize it like this. A man in a bar. In front of him is a drink, e.g. whiskey, and cigars are being smoked in the background. This man is wearing a leather jacket. For me, that is the visual image of this fragrance. So if you want to get into the leather business, you can save yourself the money for Ombre Leather or similar and try this fragrance. For 17€ simply a blast.

I'm sitting in Birmingham...

... with friends in a pub. I take off my leather jacket. One of my friends has fetched the first round and places a whisky on the wooden table. A few flowers stand on the table and make a faint, quiet comment. The fireplace near us crackles and gives off a special light and warmth.

When you apply this fragrance, the first thing you notice is a spicy, peppery, slightly sweet fruity scent that quickly blends with notes of leather and whisky. This is then joined by floral woody accents. From the background comes something green and mossy that comes across as dry and powdery and has a strong masculine twist.

The longevity and silage are good.

Here we have a surprisingly good gentleman's fragrance with the name David Beckham. I find it quite mature and therefore wearable from the mid-twenties upwards. I can't imagine wearing it on ladies because it is quite masculine. It looks really good on colder and colder days. During the day, I imagine it in a suit or jeans with a T-shirt and leather jacket. In the evening, it looks good in a pub, bar, club or even at a party.

If you like a spicy, peppery, slightly sweet, fruity, floral, green, mossy, dry, powdery, masculine leather whisky fragrance, you've come to the right place. And for a small price.
