I love smoky, weird, spiky, confronting perfumes, and this just has me tap dancing with joy. It ticks ALL those boxes, and more. First smelled from the bottle, there's a visceral punch to the nose of exceedingly bright, prickly frankincense, swiftly followed by acres of freshly burned out bushland. The honey and tobacco notes manage to tie all this loud craziness back into a lovely whole, and while the dry down never loses that delicious initial edginess, it becomes positively palatable as the day wears on, purring away like a semi-tamed big cat. I can tell this will be a favourite rainy-winter's-day fragrance for me this year. I love it lots.
