Neptune Meditates in the Zen Garden
Those expecting storm and saltwater from Neptune's Trident will be surprised: Here, one does not encounter a roaring god, but Neptune amidst a quiet, green tea garden - absorbed, clear, almost lost in thought.

The trident of this fragrance consists for me of green tea, vetiver, and a fine mineral freshness. From the very beginning, it feels as if one is watching the sea god gazing into the tea bowl amidst bamboo and pebbles - everything is tidy, reduced, almost meditative.

The green tea provides subtle energy, never intrusive, but calm and focused. Vetiver adds grounding and elegance - like the stones of a Zen garden - while a faint aquatic note only hints at the sea. There are no loud tones here, but a quiet presence - which becomes noticeable precisely when one pauses.

Neptune's Trident is for me a fragrance for those seeking understatement and depth. It is a silent companion for those who wish to feel more than to show.

If I could only save one single bottle ...
Some fragrances captivate you immediately, and New York Intense is exactly such a fragrance. I was thrilled from the very first spray. This scent has something magical that convinced me from the first moment - and that feeling returns anew every time.

New York Intense radiates a timeless, classic elegance that I have not found in any other fragrance. The individual notes are perfectly harmonized, giving the scent a wonderful harmony and balance. It feels like a tribute to the golden era of perfumery in a modern interpretation. A wonderful masterpiece with sophistication and depth for every day.

What fascinates me most about New York Intense is the positive aura of the fragrance. This zesty blend of citrus fruits in the opening exudes positive energy and lifts the mood. The scent instills confidence and is still not intrusive. It is simply perfect for starting the day with a sense of style and class.

For me, New York Intense is an absolute all-rounder: whether in everyday life or for special occasions, during the day or in the evening, in summer or winter - it always imparts a timeless elegance.

New York Intense has quickly become one of my absolute favorites. Anyone looking for a fragrance that is timeless, classic, and perfectly balanced will find it here. For me, New York Intense is more than just a fragrance - it is a mood lifter and a loyal companion. If I could only save one single bottle from a burning house, it would be this one.

The more mature cousin of Terre d'Hermès
When I first sprayed my ordered sample of Basso, the comparison with Terre d'Hermès - one of my favorite fragrances - immediately came to mind. Looking at the fragrance pyramids of both scents, it's no wonder. The similarities in the fragrance pyramid explain why both scents feel so familiar at first glance. However, shortly after spraying, they part ways, and Basso develops its own personality.

While Terre d'Hermès retains its dry, earthy sharpness, Basso becomes softer and more complex. It remains citrusy and maintains its woodiness, which reminds me of the cool freshness of an autumn forest after a light rain shower. It's as if Basso rounds off and refines the edges of Terre d'Hermès.

Basso is still perceptible after hours, and its warm, slightly spicy base harmonizes wonderfully with the cooler autumn air, making it a wonderful companion for me. It has just the kind of sillage that I appreciate in everyday life - present without being intrusive.

For me, Basso is the perfect evolution of a classic. Every time I wear it, I look forward to how it accompanies me through autumn with its warm, spicy embrace and simultaneously refreshing presence.
