Tested on the arm. I couldn't let go. Exactly what I need. Rainy day. Out with the kids. Smelling it again and again. A feeling of well-being.

Then yesterday, rainy day and slight migraine. I want to buy this. But it's no longer available in the 30ml bottle. Should I take the large one? I loved this scent, I was immersed in it.
Sprayed it on my arm again. I'm torn. Should I really take the large one? But the scent was so good last time. Grounding and leading.
Yes, I'll take it.
A little later, I enter the library, sit down, unpack, want to work. A scent rises up to me. Almost nausea. Cold incense weighs down on me. This can't be. What happened to the grounding? It's not there. Only heavy. cold. stale. I smell nothing else. Just cold incense, clinging to every skin pore.
Help! I now have 100ml of this! I want to return the perfume!

I guess I need a few more tries to figure out what 702 is all about.

Addendum: I was able to return the perfume in its original packaging. Good that I tried it again. Tested it once more upon returning. Again: stale incense. Unpleasant while working in the library because the arms, and thus the scent, are so close to my nose. Maybe I'll try it again in winter.

I applied a bit from a sample - directly from the store in Venice (July 2023) - onto my skin. The liquid is light (actually colorless), and I find the scent sweet to somewhat heavy. However, it has a spicy note that conveys a sense of security. I didn't smell any mandarin at all. Since I usually smell very little from sample vials, I didn't use the applicator stick but applied it directly from the bottle, twice on the sternum.
I quickly feel enveloped in the fragrance. The vanilla and tonka bean come through strongly. Suitable for special occasions, good for going out for me. But for everyday wear, it’s too lulling; I definitely need more freshness. However, it is also well-suited for a completely relaxed day. I would definitely attribute an erotic effect to the scent.
I was really surprised by the longevity (applied at 8:00 AM, still clearly detectable at bedtime around 11:00 PM). I have never experienced anything like that before.

Three years ago, I discovered this Eau de Toilette through a friend. I had never worn a perfume for an extended period before. I often find something too sweet, or a scent too heavy or boring over time. This one accompanied me for a whole year. Every day I went to work, I wore it, and sometimes even when I went out. The amount lasted almost exactly a year. Then I immediately needed a refill. Work without this scent lacked lightness.
The fragrance is fresh and conveys a sense of naturalness. The orange blossom is intensely present. The scent makes me feel carefree and cheerful. Like a delicate whisper, it surrounds me; it’s not a fragrance bomb. I have no idea if others can smell it too. It accompanies me well during work. And: it doesn’t bore me.
As an Eau de Toilette, the longevity of the scent is understandably limited. It’s good for about half a day, then it’s only noticeable close to the skin. Unfortunately, there is no perfume version of it. I find it less suitable as a proper evening fragrance.

Unfortunately, the scent has been discontinued along with the entire series (MuseumLine) by Merchant of Venice.
