an easy reach
Meow is one of those fragrances that will always be the right answer when you aren't sure what to wear. It's "safe", but enjoyable. To my nose, it's a very light and creamy vanilla with a very fruity opening - mostly fresh pear. Perhaps the citrus waves hello, but the star is pear and vanilla.
The performance is weak to modest, so this really must be oversprayed to be smelled for any meaningful amount of time. I'm okay with that, as I find this is a great perfume to spray multiple times on your shirt or sweater and the fabric holds the scent pretty well.
I've worn it to work many times, so that tells you how inoffensive and unassuming it is. It's a nice, soft, sweet perfume that does what it needs to do, and no more.

Smokey, woody, rose?
This is a very smokey and woody oud, with a deep base of amber. The scent kind of meanders its way up your skin as you wear it, and clings to clothes intensely. It's almost too smokey, except I detect a slight rose note (as most ouds have) that softens the scent as it matures on your skin. Certainly not for those who shy away from ouds - however, I've found that layering it with a sweeter scent, especially something high in vanilla, adds just enough creaminess to the smell that it helps those amber and rose notes blossom above the smoke and woods.

Straight forward almond
This is a straight forward almond fragrance, smells like almond extract to me. I'm pretty certain it's mostly just benzaldehyde formulated with a little bit of vanilla to soften it. Keep in mind, benzaldehyde is the same chemical in cherries, and in cough syrup. So, if this fragrance doesn't work for you, it may just be certain scent memories triggering. Or, you're not a fan of almond specifically formulated heavily with benzaldehyde, which is ok too.

I view this as a great layering scent, instead of a stand alone perfume to wear. Paired with a creamier almond like Whipped Almond from Mix:Bar, or even a rich vanilla like Bon Bons a la Vanille from Kyse, makes the nuttiness in this really pop.

My ultimate signature scent
My Way Intense is everything I want in a fragrance. The tuberose in this comes off like bubble gum, which is pillowed by a wave of creamy vanilla that keeps things gently sweet. The perfume feels feminine and soft, yet always lends me an air of confidence when I wear it. It walks this line between floral and sweet that is done so well - the perfume feels wonderfully blended. The woods in the base are there to keep the perfume grounded and allow for longevity, but they're not too perceptible.

Unhappy
The marketing was truly a red herring for this perfume. The vanilla ice cream is pretty non-existent. What you get instead is a very sharp and screechy woody/musk that refuses to dissipate. I'm confused on the inclusion of both amber wood and orcanox, both of which are strong synthetic ambergris - the result is a huge ambroxan bomb that, as others have rightly said, recalls the effect of BR540. Not that you're actually *smelling* BR540, but the actual effect of the perfume is the same.

The more I wear this, the more it feels... smoggy. Too dense, too heavy. I can search out something like a vanilla ice cream accord several hours into the wear time, which is sad. We were marketed melting ice cream, and given smoky woods that we need to machete our way through to find some semblance of vanilla. It's paltry and weak, when we do find it.

The real upset is mainly because what was marketed isn't what has been delivered. If they told us it was a dark, woody musk with vanilla undertones, then great - I know what I'm getting into and probably would've passed on it. I'm sure fans of that scent profile would've flocked to it. But instead they tried to ensare the gourmand lovers and in doing so have alienated the musk lovers, who would be their ideal consumer base. Just a really weird move, all around. I hope the Snif team has an all hands meeting next week and takes all this feedback to heart.

For those saying it smells like Mod Vanilla, I think that's completely inaccurate. Mod Vanilla seems to lean much heavier on the actual vanilla and has a light berry/plum accord that keeps it lifted and brighter. What I think those people are smelling is that perhaps Mod Vanilla and Vanilla Vice share the same aroma chemical musks, so it's just triggering a quick scent memory. But, smelled side by side, the perfumes are quite different and really not worth a comparison. The final products, so to speak, live in different neighborhoods.
