The best Le Mâle
Today times a designer, because why not.
Mr. Gaultier has it somehow with sweet stuff - consistently they are all. I'm quite honest, this Le Mâle I got me at the time only because of its appearance, had indeed once briefly smelled the atomizer and thought to me yeh, could fit, but the real reason was the wonderfully masculine cut flacon.

to the fragrance:

Warm leather paired with vanilla and almond, sometimes flashing a bit of cherry, make this Gaultier quite attractive (or undressing -cough-). Thanks to all the synthetics, projection and durability are in the green zone, but it also makes the Le Mâle seem a little dull at the back.

Nice flak, nice fragrance, Conclusion: Quite Nice.

The scent with the multiple personality disorder
Molecule 01 should be a household name to most, made the wave a few years ago due to its single fragrance Iso E Super.

Is it as super as that? Depends. "You can say that about anything 'depends', of course it depends." On what?
On you, more specifically, on your skin. Much more than with other fragrances, skin type is very crucial to the outcome of the scent here, and that's quite wonderful!

The Molecule I have so far at the people on whom I have smelled it always perceived differently, but all have the slightly woody, warm base in itself. The is really very pleasant and projects also quite neat. The rest is a matter of luck! Really can go wrong, however, nothing, until now I have never noticed the Molecule negative to someone.

Who would like to use it even more sensible, it should times with the fragrances you have at home layer. Just try everything with the Molecule as a base!

In the end, the Molecule does not really know what he wants to be, and that's good:

Everyone who wears it makes it something especially unique, and that is more than commendable!

The fallen knight
Oh Aventus, what has become of you. Like so many here, I was inspired by a certain ex-boy band singer in a white suit to buy the flagship of Creed. Blindbuys are disreputable, but can also be lucky purchases, I thought to myself.

Expectations I have then formulated the following:

Aventus, I hope you are as noble as what I paid for you. I hope you smell distinguished, mature and courteous, not intimidating but present, figuratively like a knight in his shining silver armor, proud and venerable.

He had been - at one time or another.

Aventus is a living example of how a fragrance DNA can literally wear out. It's not the numerous reformulations that have meant I can no longer recommend Aventus to anyone in good conscience. It's its sheer popularity.
Anyone with money and the niche tunnel vision I had back then reeks of it.

Typical situation:
Alsterhaus, three gentlemen with the same fanny pack of Gucci enter, Tom Ford, yes ne, you know. They want something new, extraordinary. Creed, already heard of "brothers", you take a look. The lady at the Creed counter immediately points out Aventus, everyone smells it at the same time - "that's a cool one Digger, I'll take it! Three more, often becomess the Signature.

And so it goes on until then all are infected.

He didn't deserve this, and then he did, a contrast that is difficult and brought him here.

Aventus, you brave knight. It's time to let go. Perhaps you will be seen in new garb, with new being. Until then

Good mood black
If one (s) then all niche secrets revealed, Parfumo discovered and clicked through hundreds of brands, one will also in the niche area quickly notice that between the standard niche labels (Creed, PdM,...), the "normal" niche labels and the artistically extravagant niche labels can be distinguished.
So today, we're going to talk about a very unconventional label from a very unconventional man. We are talking about Filippo Sorcinelli, the tailor of the Pope.
Filippo may seem a bit unorthodox to some, his particular appearance doesn't really remind you of the church. And yet he is a man of God, a fascinating personality with a lot of talent. Quasi "thank god" that he found a foothold in the niche fragrance world with his first fragrance "LAVS"!:)) Yes, you can smell like the Pope, and let me say one thing, he smells very good;)

but now to Ennui Noir, the fragrance that Filippo has dedicated to the "black" boredom:

What do we have here? I don't know. Anyway, it's dark, black, everything is black. Not only the beautiful bottle, but also the fragrance. Cedarwood combines with all sorts of dark, vanilla joins later. Quite nice, then. Nice, good-humoured black. Goes well with black too. Boring? No way! Almost too erotic for a Sorcinelli, very indecently attractive. Filippo shows how the fragrance works best: black leather boots, black chinos, a wide black cardigan and a black hat - you'll be noticed?

And it became light
First comment, well then;)

Hamburg, November 2020

So boredom had brought me here. Since I strolled just still with the shopping mien through Hamburg, bills in the eyes, everything had smiled at me in pre-Christmas mood, there I stopped in front of a shop. A perfumery - there should be such a thing. Douglas? No. But surely there's nothing like the blue (almost) fragrant shops? There is. When I risked a look, my eyes were opened. Greeted by a nice lady, this little shop in Große Bleichen didn't let me go for almost an hour. I was olfactorily deflowered that evening. It was perfect. The learning curve was very steep, so many new brands: Xerjoff, Montale, Frederic Malle and Diptyque, just to name a few that I got to test. One of the fragrances of the house of Diptyque is also the subject of today's article. Just the fragrance that reminded me of just that evening in downtown Hamburg: Tempo by Diptyque.

to the fragrance:

Patchouli can, but does not have to smell musty and like a stable. Skillfully combined and properly used it can even become a true gentleman note - Tempo creates that for me. Apart from the awful name, where the only conclusion is that the entire budget must have gone into the fragrance itself, Tempo is a seriously cozy patch scent for the colder days, the patchouli playfully embraced by the violet, making the whole thing feel very informal. Olivier Pescheux has pretty much delivered with this uncomplicated and beautiful realization. Filled in a noble bottle, the price is also right, definitely test it!
