I had high hopes for this one!
Reading some of the almost raving reviews I pictured a beautiful almond vanilla scent, with a little spice and a warm woody base!
I got a literal punch to my nostrils instead!
What is happening?!
A user on fragrantica described it as "not Vanilla S.. but Vanilla domestic violence" and now I get it!
A weird plasticky, almost tangible acrid note hovering over the whole composition, that will not reveal the rest of the notes to me.

I'm not giving up on this yet, I will let my sample sit, mature and report back.

Edit: It's a no for me. It has this strange Lattafa base, that will not mingle with the other notes on my skin.

Also this is not a dupe of "Vanilla Sex / Vanilla | Tom Ford" at all.
"Sehr Lattafa / سحر لطافة | Lattafa / لطافة" is a heavy and sweet almond, oriental, "Vanilla Sex / Vanilla | Tom Ford" is a complex vanilla, almond cloud.

I wanted to love it, believe me, I really do.
But alas, I can't!

The notes sound too good to be true at first, but then I see it: Amberwoods.. oh no.
That usually means a cheap ambroxan-brew in the base, that swallows all other notes!

Upon first try, the top and heart notes develop nicely, I am loving the almost sticky date scent. It's spicy, it's sweet, it's interesting!
And then it hits me.. the "amber woods", just as expected.
Devouring all the beautiful top and heart notes until there is nothing left on my skin besides this overwhelmingly synthetic note. (didn't even take 30 minutes for that)

I get the hype, it's a beautiful first impression for a few minutes and maybe its just my personal skin chemistry that reacts very unfavourably with the "amber woods" and ruins the perfume, at least that's what I'm suspecting, but I must suspect that it's also a lack in ingredient quality.

It's a pity!

I have smelled "Eclaire / اكلاير | Lattafa / لطافة" first on my friend and quite frankly could not believe a perfume like this can exist. It is so much of all the beautiful, sweet, gourmand, vanillary, caramelly notes that you usually only get sparingly in most perfumes!
Even though I am an avid vanilla lover and absolutely adore tonka, for me the world of gourmand and lactonic perfumes is quite new, it still feels frivolous to me to smell this edible to be honest.
Suffice to say I was stunned by this one!
My friend and I were getting ready for an evening out on a city trip and suddenly our hotel room is filled with this dense cloud of gourmand goodness! Tonka, honey, sweet white flowers and milk! What is this!? I could not believe that this is actually a perfume! I thought she had just put on vanilla body lotion and opened a fresh package of caramel cookies, so edible was the scent!
Obviously I could not resist and had to have this too!
And I am glad I did!
It's not the most original composition, yes true. But that's also not what I am buying it for.
I want all the sweet, tonka-laden vanilla cloud goodness! And that's what I got!
Perfect on it's own and even better for layering!

P.S. Is it a dupe for Bianco Latte ? Yes, yes it is!

This is a fantastic scent for summer!
Heavy, droopy, creamy floral notes in the top, dominated by frangipani with the solar notes peaking through already!
It reminds me so much of the scent of expensive sun screen, worn at the seaside.
Then a little bit of freshness, the cedar wood building the base with some warm under tones.
Good balance of creamy and fresh, smells much more expensive than it is! I love it!

First impression: soapy, slightly fruity and reminiscent of Lattafa - Haya.
I think I can smell a pear note but it's swallowed up by a hefty sweet note in the beginning.
It's hard to make out single notes in this perfume.
To me it stays fruity and fresh, not much of praline and vanilla in sight, which is a bit disappointing because I had hoped for a more gourmand/woody base.
It's reminiscent of many modern, feminine sweet, fresh, floral perfumes, maybe like the Marc Jacobs line.
