Is the hype justified?
A slight hype is definitely noticeable - lately, I've been hearing perfume influencers talk about the fragrance house Zielinski & Rozen, specifically about this scent.

That's exactly why I had to check out the fragrance for myself and see what it's all about.

The notes mentioned in the name are all clearly perceptible. Especially in the opening, neroli and black pepper stand out.
Over time, the fragrance evolves: amber becomes increasingly noticeable and develops into a creamy, slightly ambered finish. Overall, it is a spicy scent with a clear structure and a certain depth.

The price that Zielinski & Rozen is asking for the fragrance is - at least from my perspective - absolutely fair. You get a scent with true niche character, which also comes in a wonderfully authentically designed bottle (even if that should be secondary).

To return to the title of the review:
Yes, the attention for the fragrance is justified.
A fairly priced scent that clearly distinguishes itself from many comparable perfumes through its character. For me personally, not a classic blind buy - but definitely worth a recommendation for testing.

Simply Wow ...
The Bois Impérial Eau de Parfum - a very rounded and clean fragrance. Although officially unisex, it has a distinctly masculine touch. A scent that is perfect for work & everyday life. Still, it's not a fragrance that gives you the feeling you've smelled it hundreds of times before.

In the opening, Bois Imperial is almost 1 to 1 like the Sunrise on the Red Sand Dunes Eau de Parfum from Zara. However, it is significantly more pleasant, rounded, and less piercing. The opening of both fragrances always reminds me directly of Mojito cocktails and, consequently, of summer vacations and time spent in beach bars.

For me, it has strong signature potential due to its versatility. The price-performance ratio is unbeatable for a fragrance with this niche character. The longevity and projection are also convincing - while not a total high performer, it is certainly above average.

Overall, a fragrance with compelling arguments for wearing. Incredibly versatile and suitable for any scenario. A clear candidate for warm summer days and many other occasions.

The more elegant and mature interpretation of the SWY line
Upon first application, the scent immediately reminds me of the classic SWY DNA with its sweetness and warmth. However, after a short time, a change becomes noticeable - the sweetness recedes, and a creamy-leathery note unfolds, giving the fragrance a certain elegance. This development makes the scent appear less youthful and imparts a distinctly more mature aura.

The lavender notes add a fresh, aromatic facet that rounds out the overall picture. I find it particularly interesting how, as it progresses, a slightly powdery nuance merges with the leather, making the fragrance feel even smoother.

The longevity and sillage of the fragrance are solid, but they seem a bit weaker to me than in Emporio Armani - Stronger with You Intensely.

Overall, I perceive the fragrance as a successful, more mature interpretation of the SWY line, which has personally convinced me with its creamy and leathery notes. To me, it feels like a more adult alternative to its predecessors and is therefore definitely worth a spray in my eyes.
