The name promises exactly what it says.
The fragrance smells completely of neroli, and I like that very much.
Fresh scents always do it for me, and even though it's not a citrusy scent, I'm still very pleasantly surprised by this fragrance.
I received it as a sample after I ordered it from Montale with my Arabians and have been thinking about buying it ever since.
The scent is so fresh and extremely floral. I really feel like I'm lying in a meadow of flowers and I'm just happy.
About the bottle: Montale's "tin cans" often get a lot of hate, but I actually really like them, especially this one. The pattern on the front is also very appealing.
In my review of the Arabians by Montale, I already mentioned that in my opinion Montale sometimes lacks diversity between the fragrances, but here it is exactly the opposite, it is an enormously unique and good fragrance.
As I said, I've been thinking about getting this fragrance for a while now, and I think that all in all the fragrance is really great and the price-performance ratio is good too. So I can only recommend it.

To be honest, I still don't quite know what to make of this fragrance. First of all, I can't describe how much I love the fragrance itself. I always fall for fresh, citrusy and fruity summer fragrances. That's why this fragrance is right up my street. I'm very happy to see so many citrus notes in this fragrance. Even though it's called Mandarino di Amalfi, it doesn't even contain mandarin, but I still like it extremely well.
How did I come across the fragrance?
I first smelled it 1.5 years ago and I was immediately in love with it. However, I was hardly in the perfume scene at the time and it was far too expensive for me. After that, I couldn't find it anywhere to test it and was very disappointed. About 1.5 months ago, however, I discovered it in a Breuninger and was immediately in love with it again. However, the price was still too high for me. After thinking about it for a long time, I was curious and looked to see if it was reduced, and it was actually reduced by almost 100€ at Douglas. So I went ahead and bought it.
Now the most important question - was it worth it? - To be honest, I'm extremely unsure.
The problem with the fragrance is the lack of longevity and sillage. To be honest, I wouldn't have bought it for the normal price as it would have been far too expensive for me. However, I found it very pleasant thanks to the discount.
About the bottle
I really like the Tom Ford bottles from the Private Blend range, and the bright blue of this bottle in particular caught my eye. I also really like the golden extras.
All in all - is it worth it?
To be honest, for the original price - no. However, I think it's a fair price for the fragrance. I don't think I'll ever repurchase it as I'll use it very sparingly anyway, but I don't necessarily regret my purchase. The only problem is, as I said, the sillage and the longevity of the fragrance.

The old, inexpensive marvel
First of all, the fragrance - many people are immediately turned off by the top notes, but I find this very unfair, as you first have to give the fragrance time to develop. To be honest, I wasn't so convinced at the beginning either, as this fragrance really "smells" a bit at first when you spray it on. But it develops well! - I always fall for fruity, citrusy and fresh scents, so this one definitely appealed to me. Online, this fragrance gets a lot of hate, which I think is very unfair. I really think a lot of people just have a problem with the first spray and don't give the fragrance time to develop - as I said, this is wrong in my eyes though, as the fragrance has really good potential. Slightly synthetic - that's why it only gets a 7 out of 10 from me.
In my opinion, the longevity and sillage are surprisingly good for the price and for an EDT. Many of the base notes last up to 6 hours after application, but the top notes evaporate very quickly. In my eyes, there are actually two levels of top notes. The first level contains basil, citrus and rosewood and is the note that "smells" a little, but the fragrance develops relatively quickly into the second top note, which is more reminiscent of aniseed, bergamot, juniper and citrus. This top note also fades relatively quickly, at least on my skin, after around 10 to 20 minutes. Middle notes behave quite similarly and last 1 to 3 hours on my skin, but the base notes last a really long time on my skin and I am very happy about that, as I particularly like the vanilla and patchouli in it. So 7 out of 10 points for longevity and sillage as well.
The bottle - I actually really like it. I always like Versace bottles, especially the Eros by Versace because of the lion on the front of the bottle, which is why I was so happy to find the lion here again. It can be found once around the bottle and on the lid itself, so 5 times, and there is also a nice pattern on the top and bottom of the bottle. Unfortunately, the lid is made of plastic, but this is to be expected for the price. I really liked the packaging of the bottle, the small box with a very nice print.
The end result? - Top! - For the price, you really can't complain or grumble. I think I got my 75ml bottle on offer for €14 and that's definitely very acceptable. Don't listen to people on the internet, you have to give the fragrance time to develop.

The hate for this fragrance is really very unfounded in my opinion. I don't know if it's because of where the perfume comes from or why it's being talked down to so much. Personally, I usually find it difficult to accept winter fragrances as I'm more of a summer person. However, I really like the scent of this perfume for several reasons - firstly, I'm not a big fan of oud-like scents, but I really like it here as the sweetness of the fragrance definitely saves it. I also like the development of the fragrance, it also has something heavy about it, which I also really like in any case.
However, there is something to criticize about the perfume, namely the problem is the sillage and the durability, both of which unfortunately leave a lot to be desired. The problem is that I really like the development of the fragrance, but unfortunately it doesn't last that long and the sillage suffers as a result. That's why I have to deduct something for the durability and the sillage.
About the bottle - I actually really like it, the shape is simple, but definitely beautiful, and I really like the colors of the black bottle and the golden lid and the golden inscription. I particularly like the gold-plated shield with the print and the Pegasus, which I really like and is a nice little detail. But be careful! - The lid is not secure! - So be careful not to lift the perfume by the lid. I also think that the inlet shape inside the bottle has a nice shape.
So what is there to say? - I really like the fragrance and also the bottle. The only problem with the perfume is the longevity and sillage, so the price-performance ratio is a bit high, as you pay about €2.2 per ml and you could possibly expect better performance for that.
However - I like the perfume very much and I could definitely imagine buying it again. For the price it also looks very high quality in my opinion, the bottle feels really classy and the fragrance also has a classy effect due to its weight.

However, you have to admit that the fragrance smells very synthetic, I like natural scents more, but this is definitely not wrong with this perfume. All in all, you can really only give it a thumbs up, I'm very happy with the fragrance.
Durability and sillage - top! - I am really very happy with the longevity, for an EDT definitely very convincing. It lasts up to 8 hours on me. The sillage is also very convincing and really easy to perceive.

This is definitely a pity, but not too bad, as the perfume shouldn't actually drip off this bottle.
All in all, this perfume is definitely worth buying. I bought the 125ml bottle and am definitely very satisfied. There is nothing more to say, price - performance also top.
