Macijolene

i found an old unused bottle of this from its release, and i honestly wasn't super excited about it. smelling it in the bottle and upon first spray, it's very fruity, which isn't quite my vibe. but the DRY DOWN omg. very pretty cocoa-caramelly-woody-patch! with a fruity kick. i like it!!

i wore this for about 5 years and the opening notes vary for me. sometimes it’s a photorealistic grass, sometimes it’s a green juicy pear. i smell a bit of jasmine too, but don’t get much vanilla or musk (if those are even actual notes?). clean and easy to wear. perfect for spring and summer, it's very clean smelling (not an indolic jasmine imo)

i heard someone say this “smells like a chic hangover” YEARS ago and it’s still the most accurate description. reminds me of Not A Perfume but with a little more complexity and a little less warmth. doesn’t smell like skin on me, but is light, clean, a little floral & somehow boozy (think Tito’s on the rocks) and surprisingly easy to wear. my boss used to hug me everyday just so she could smell this! great for a signature scent.

but unfortunately, this was a scrubber for me.
upon first spray, it smells like lemon pez with a hint of petrichor & is quite pleasant!
the drydown is when this one got really funky: within 15 minutes i was legitimately gagging :( on me, this smelled very dirty, salty, woody, and sickly sweet, in the worst way.
the longevity seems pretty bomb though, i could still smell it on my hand for hours after washing it off! and the scent lingered in my bedroom long after i had sold my bottle.

smells absolutely so delicious! pretty vanilla/tonka forward on the dry down, but still nice and buttery. the projection is pretty minimal, but this lasts a very long time on me! (especially on fabric, i could still smell it on my shirt after washing it) i wish it came in a larger size, because i can go through this very fast if i don't limit myself.
