I am brand new here and am trying my hand at my first review.

I ordered this perfume on a whim from Amazon, as I had a voucher left, and wow … what a lucky find.
I expected a lot of things, but “Sangado-Casanova” is truly a knockout!


*A man enters the restaurant on the beach promenade. He is wearing linen pants, a loose white shirt, and stylish sunglasses. He is alone.
Immediately, he draws the attention of several guests. He scans the room with his gaze, then smiles contentedly.
Everyone thinks the same thing … “Another macho.”*

At first, the scent is very citrusy, and you get the feeling that you have applied a very poor and one-dimensional perfume, primarily consisting of a lot of bergamot.


*The man confidently yet elegantly strides to the bar.
The gazes of the other guests still follow him. Only one person seems uninterested in him … a young lady. With her back to him, she sits alone at the bar, watching the sunset through the large window.
She immediately catches his eye.
She radiates such calmness and self-assurance, yet somehow manages not to come across as arrogant.
He orders a cocktail and approaches her.
She sees right through him, but she engages in the conversation.
He is charming and good-looking, so why not enjoy a little company on such a beautiful evening?*

After a few minutes, the strong citrus scent calms down and makes way for a gentle aquatic note.


*They talk as if they have known each other for years. He has a talent for saying what women want to hear without being pushy. He asks her if she is interested in a walk on the beach. She smiles, thinks for a moment, and nods.
He pays for her drink, helps her into her jacket, and they leave the restaurant together.
Outside, a fresh sea breeze awaits them.*


Suddenly, the scent unfolds.
It hits you like a wall of citrus fruits and sea salt.
The aquatic note is now clearly noticeable.
Every now and then, you catch a brief whiff of soft, pleasant sunscreen before it is whisked away by a sea breeze.


*They walk along the beach together, and she realizes how comfortable she feels with him. She hasn’t felt such natural warmth in a long time, yet he remains mysterious. She senses that there is more to him than he is willing to reveal.
She stops, places a hand on his chest, smiles at him, and asks, “Who are you really?”
For a brief moment, he is silent and looks at her thoughtfully, as if he is pondering this question for the first time.
Then he begins to share …
Things he has never told anyone before.*


The perfume retains its citrusy and aquatic notes, but slowly a floral, sometimes almost slightly sweet note emerges.
It becomes more pronounced with each passing minute.
The scent notes swirl around so much that you don’t even know what you are actually smelling.
But somehow they fit together perfectly.
“A Chaotic Harmony”


*Suddenly, he falls silent and stops.
They have been walking and talking on the beach for an hour now.
She looks at him and sees that he is deep in thought. For a moment, she sees something like regret in his eyes.
He has opened up to her … he has opened up for the first time.
She takes his hand, looks deeply into his eyes, and gives him a kiss on the cheek.
His features relax, and he feels a warmth and peace in his heart that he hasn’t felt in a long time.
They gaze together at the sunset on the horizon.*


The citrus and aquatic notes are still present. The floral note remains as well. However, a dark note approaches very subtly and almost unrecognized. It stands in complete contrast to the otherwise bright, exciting, and fresh scent notes, but then quickly develops into a warm woody note that spreads very discreetly.


*He briefly closes his eyes. When he opens them again, he finds himself alone on the beach. Just the fresh sea breeze and him. Nothing else.
How he would love to meet a woman again whom he can open up to.
Yet he now feels this warmth in his heart … as if he has found himself.*


The maritime and citrus notes are very present the entire time and never really disappear. The warm woody notes are there but never strong enough to overshadow the freshness of the sea breeze.

Still, a rounded ending for his story.




I must say, it is not easy to combine such a story with a scent description.
It was my first time; I hope it helps someone.

I can only recommend buying this perfume. Especially given the low price, around €20.
It has really good projection and longevity. Significantly better than many other higher-priced perfumes.
