one punch mickey
So... I haven't posted anything on parfumo for quite a long time. To be honest, there hasn't really been any new release in the last 2-3 years that prompted me to share my thoughts. But now the time has come. Well, I probably wouldn't write anything about the GGA (=Gucci Guilty Absolute) either, but I received the fragrance as a gift from my brother two days ago. And that by accident.
You see, (there's no umlaut a on my keyboard, so I always write with ae) I actually prefer the original Gucci Guilty compared to most people here. I just like the scent. Just the fragrance and the overall package with the bottle, color, packaging, Chris Evans, hairy chest, etc. I know the advertising achieved what it wanted ;)
Well, my brother went to the perfumery and wanted to buy me the Guilty Intense, but instead, he bought the Absolute, as I said, by accident. He handed me the bag, I took out the box, and lo and behold, it was a brown box instead of black. I knew what that meant because I had already tested the Gucci Absolute. Not even on the paper strip, let alone on my hand, but just sniffed it briefly at the spray head. That was enough for me :)

Boom... like a punch from One Punch Mickey aka Brad Pitt in the film classic "Snatch" by Guy Ritchie. Anyone who knows the film (I hope everyone does, if not, watch it right away, it's a cult) knows what I mean. You have to take a quick breath after the first sniff. The new Gucci (Okay, it's not that new either) knocks you off your feet. I think it’s mainly because nowadays, they don't really make such masculine fragrances anymore, except maybe in the niche market. It has absolutely nothing sweet or fresh about it like 99% of all men's fragrances today. It just smells mercilessly like... MAN. Maybe too much?

Hmm, definitely not for everyone. It smells very strong of leather and is definitely suitable for autumn and winter.
So I didn't even test it on my skin. It was just too off-putting for me.

Well, that's the one I got from my little brother :) He said he no longer had the receipt. So I had no choice but to tear off the outer foil and immediately give a spray on my hand. It turned out shortly after that he actually still had the receipt. What a drama.

I've had the fragrance for 2 days now and I must say... I can't stop smelling my hand.
Oh, and I should mention that the scents smell exactly the same on my skin as they do on a paper strip. So no development or anything. But I must say that this Gucci feels quite good on my skin. It becomes a bit softer. Not as extreme as from the bottle. It becomes a bit tamer. But just a bit. But that’s enough for me. Thus, it is wearable for me. However, the initial impact of the fragrance fades quickly. I would wish for a longer longevity and a bit better sillage.

Nevertheless, I am already looking forward to autumn ;) With a leather jacket and my suede boots, it will fit so well. So more suited to a rougher style of clothing.
I think it would also go very well with a suit and coat. However, I always associate brown leather with the fragrance (brown leather jacket, brown leather boots). It probably has to do with the color of the perfume.

You all know Gaultier's "Ultra Male"... Ultra Male :D ..I have to grin every time at the name because it doesn't match the fragrance at all. Gaultier's "Ultra Male" is quite feminine. The designation "ultra male" really has no place there, but well. Advertising, I guess. What I want to say is, THIS GUCCI HERE deserves that name. I mean come on people, this fragrance from Gucci is testosterone times ten. At 30 years old, I feel 5 years older with this scent. It exudes masculinity and maturity. I'm sure this Gucci evokes just that in most people who then walk behind you on the street.

On the other hand, it divides opinions. Maybe some will even cross to the other side of the street. Such a thing is certainly not liked. Not that it has ever happened to me :D But I can imagine it.

As mentioned, I wasn't initially thrilled with the Guilty Absolute, but it only took 2 days for me to fall in love with it. I should also mention that it smells very high quality. At least to me. I've read the opposite here. However, it feels very natural to me.

Bottle, color of the juice, packaging... for me, everything is a feast for the eyes with this product. And the best part is, it will never be mainstream, I'm quite sure of that.

And lastly... if movies could smell, "Snatch" would definitely smell like Gucci Guilty Absolute, with its plot and all its characters. Above all, One Punch Mickey, Turkish & Frankie "fucking" four fingers.

In the end, it was a positive mistake ;)

I don't have much to say about this scent..
except that it smells identical to The Game by Davidoff. At least for me. I would say exactly the same. This extremely synthetic, this extreme sweetness, also quite similar to The Game and Eros by Versace. What’s with this sweet scent hype all of a sudden? Well, I don’t like these sweet synthetic fragrances, so this Burberry is nothing for me. On the other hand, I find Burberry Sport for Men great. It doesn’t last very long but it’s extremely well done. Unfortunately, I can’t say more about it. I only smelled the spray head briefly and that was enough for me. I don’t even need to test it.

Great Sample
I love the bottle, I think I bought it just for that reason, but I am not disappointed. On the contrary, I find that this one smells better than the original; it is lighter, rounder, cozier, more pleasant, simply more refined. Really well done. It also lasts a very long time, which I noticed on my brother, but on myself, I can only smell it for 2 hours... at most, then it's over.

As I said, I think the tattoo pattern is really well done, an eye-catcher. Just like the can. And I believe the price is reasonable for the fact that it contains 125ml.

Don't be too hard on Joop :)
It can't be that bad, because I have it at home, which says something :P Jokes aside, I find it very masculine, attractive, and warm. However, it has one drawback: it's a bit too unremarkable. If you're looking for something completely new, Freigeist is not the right choice. The first time you smell it, you think "I know this from somewhere."
The longevity is definitely impressive. You can smell it for hours. I was at a friend's place once, lounging on the couch. Of course, I had applied Freigeist. The next day I went back to him, and he said "I could still smell your perfume on the sofa in the morning." So it must hold quite well.
Conclusion: A good but not too new fragrance. I wouldn't buy it again. I'm someone who likes to buy and try new scents.

Simply Awesome!
Well, I just can't understand anyone who doesn't like this amazing scent. Masculine, seductive, cool...almost too cool, so casual. Made for the night, the creators of this fragrance keep their promise. More suitable for cooler days. Best in winter or autumn. For summer, there's now the Frozen Cologne. However, it could last a bit longer, considering it's not exactly cheap. Since L'homme, YSL has piqued my interest.

In any case, this one belongs to the classics that you should have.
Conclusion: Top-notch scent!
