I love the concept of Map of the Heart. From the very literally designed bottles to the names and colors of the fragrances - it all appeals to me. One look at the pyramid made me want to try V.3.

What is not mentioned in the fragrance description on Parfumo are the names of the fragrances listed on the website. The red heart V.3 is therefore the Heart of Passion. "Rebellious. Mature. Explosively seductive," says the manufacturer.

The first spritz is initially tart bergamot and a little peppery tickle on the nose. Then comes a sweet, ripe red apple, fruity and delicious! There's still a lot going on at this point. After a few minutes it becomes floral with tuberose, a little cinnamon incense, do I smell sandalwood now? That goes quickly. After a good half hour, sweet vanilla, musk and patchouli finally form a gentle frame and the fragrance becomes very close to the skin. I can't recognize guava in the course of the fragrance. Rebellious and explosive? Rather not.

I have to compare it with V.5 because I find it totally fascinating. Unfortunately, the red sister is weaker and can't keep up with the H/S of the purple heart. I only found out after my review that it's called Valour, bravery. And somehow it all makes sense again in this overall concept: while V.5 is loud and somehow polarizing with its contrasts, V.3 is more pleasing and sweet. The closeness to the skin and cuddliness is certainly better suited to the intimate passion between two people. The red one is more of a flatterer that wants to please and seduce.

By the way, as a newcomer, I noticed something exciting. When I sprayed it, I immediately recognized it, and then I had it - L'Interdit Rouge! Tart opening, tuberose heart and patchouli-sandal base. For me, they are similar in their composition, even if the designer has a better H/S and is more intense overall. However, I prefer the finish of V.3 because it seems less heavy to me.

The huge screens on the walls show beautiful earthly winter landscapes, which almost make you forget the hostile environment outside the thick steel. From a laboratory, a scientific worker brings plants that thrive under the artificial light of UV lamps and are intended not only for consumption itself, but also for the general well-being and indoor climate. Their small, multicolored flowers look like tiny roses and lilies of the valley, mingling with the spices.

Open fire and smoke are prohibited for safety reasons, so there are no candles. The ventilation system allows to configure a discreet room scent on certain occasions. A descendant of a family from the Ore Mountains remembers his grandparents' hand-carved incense and he has the AI put together a mixture of resin, incense and other woods that fill the entire room.

One of the older residents says the smell reminds him of the old church he used to attend on Sundays as a child. A contemplative, almost wistful atmosphere takes hold of the adults. The children are waiting for their presents: toys from the 3D printer.

Do you know this? Sometimes there is a certain discrepancy between your own behavior and the image you would like to have of yourself. At least that's how I feel. To be honest, I'm often a people pleaser in my day-to-day work. Harmony in the team is important to me, I avoid conflicts and try to create a constructive working atmosphere with compromises and helpfulness.

Sometimes, however, it annoys me even in me, because of course this does not always reflect my true emotional state and there are simply colleagues and colleagues with whom even this does not help.

In such moments I want to be a boss lady, a pinch of bad bitch, a touch of femme fatale. Someone who is respected and doesn't give a shit if she is liked or not. A little above the fray, a certain aura of rebellion, self-confidence and the security of one's own strength.

For me, Purple Heart V.5 transports exactly that. Immediately upon application, I am bombarded with almost scratchy, smoky notes. For me, however, it does not smell like a cigarette or a fireplace, but rather like a flamed whiskey (or plum liqueur?) Oak barrel. Shortly thereafter, the black cherry joins in, providing a fruity underpinning to the smoke. A totally exciting combination! After about half an hour, the smoke and the cherry retreat a bit and a pleasant dark sweetness (licorice & vanilla?) spreads. This is never sticky for me though, as the smoke definitely remains present in the background. Tonka and sandalwood finally bed the whole soft and a little gentler to rest, amber gives a certain heaviness.

The fragrance is certainly not a flatterer, especially at the beginning, here happen throughout the course of many contrasts and it is not cuddly, soft or pleasing but has bite and tension, but is not unpleasant. I find the durability and sillage super, because I can perceive him all day. I will probably soon treat myself to the beautiful bottle.
