Even if these types of fragrances have become stale for many people, there must be a reason why they are still so popular. For me, it's quite simple: they smell good, most people like them and they never offend. They may not make you smell exceptional, but they definitely smell good.

However, I think that Chanel goes a little deeper with the BdC perfume. Due to the more pronounced woody notes, it comes across as much more sophisticated than the EdT, EdP and other colleagues in the same category, especially after the citrus and fresh notes have faded a little. That's why, for me, it's the best of the "blue" fragrances and I wear it very often and with great pleasure in a wide variety of scenarios. Funnily enough, it's also the fragrance I get the most compliments on, even though, or perhaps because, it's not that exceptional. The H/S could be better, although I don't think the sillage should be room-filling at all with this fragrance.

All in all, the fragrance is a masterpiece for me and does exactly what it is supposed to do.
