Let’s start like this: My fiancée HATES this perfume. According to her, it stinks. Now my opinion: I like it. But why? The scent contains one of the most challenging fragrance notes in perfumes, namely leather. And here we have the most dominant leather you can get. But this is where the perfumery skill behind this scent shows. It is captured by sweet and aquatic accords that tame and beautifully frame the leather. It gets safety belts, so to speak, and stays in place after 10-15 minutes. After that, a strong, contrasting sweet scent unfolds. The leather remains in focus, but it is not overwhelming. And that is the point where tastes differ. For me, this is a masculine, very distinctive men’s fragrance that can hardly become a daily scent, but when used at specific moments, you understand why one considers Philipp Plein. A presence that divides crowds but definitely leaves an impression. The bottle also fits perfectly into this picture. I will continue to use the scent, even if I get some flak for it… ;)
