Mazalu

A fresh fruity blackcurrant opens the fragrance, with pineapple following closely behind. After the fruity start, an aquatic minty freshness quickly takes over for me.
Like a summer walk along a steep coast adorned with wildflowers and mint, the light breeze blowing coolly from the sea carries at times more of the salty scent of the ocean and then again the wildflower scent of the coast. What a varied beautiful fresh fragrance! Its biggest drawback is, as with all aquatic and fresh scents (at least for me), its short longevity on my skin. After two hours, the fun is over!

At the start, the fragrance has a slightly fruity note from bergamot, which, however, quickly fades away. Subsequently, slightly bitter herbs and spices emerge, which are subtly highlighted from the beginning by the sweetness of opoponax. In the later stages, the incense scent remains, accompanied by a light leather note, always accompanied by the fine sweetness of opoponax.
I cannot perceive oud, unless it is included in the leather scent. However, I am not unhappy about this, as oud usually repels me. Overall, this is a composition that I find truly successful. Unfortunately, the fragrance does not achieve a full score, as it is not particularly intense on my skin, but rather perceived as close to the body. However, it lasts a long time.
The bottle has a rather masculine design. The price-performance ratio is unbeatable. The quality of the fragrance is truly surprising.

Without a doubt one of my favorite scents. On my skin, it starts with a strong note of caraway. Aromatic and unpretentious, right off the bat. Hmmm, I take a deep breath of the fragrance. Yes, now the freshly ground pepper joins in. Just as unabashed as the caraway, it strives for dominance. Like two siblings vying for their parents' attention, they call out to me: smell me, smell me, smell me! Oh, my two little treasures, don’t you know that I love you both?
Vetiver smiles shyly. I smile encouragingly back. Meanwhile, cinnamon has simply vanished into thin air. Was it even there? The two spice siblings are just too loud. After they've had their fun, they merge with the vetiver into an almost incense-like scent with a lovingly budding freshness. Perhaps Amyris?

My first encounter with you was a shock! You lay there in your beautiful, promising dark honey color in the Discovery Box, and I couldn't wait to spray you on myself. One spray and BANG - memories flooded over me. A burnt black log at the edge of the extinguished campfire, where we sat the night before, laughing in the warm glow of the fire, drinking red wine, feeling the coolness of the night at our backs and the heat of the fire in front of us. Later on, a warm note joins the cold fire, almost as if it flares up again and reminds me with its hidden warmth of a long-forgotten yearning dream.
Do I smell something fresh? No. For me, the scent starts immediately like the cold smoke in the hair or clothes after sitting by the fire for hours. But do not confuse it with cold cigarette smoke. No, it is the fantastic scent of a campfire in the woods, where the damp earth resonates and the essential oils of the fir branches rise in the fire. After a while, a certain sweetness sneaks in, which accompanies the scent for a long time until it eventually fades away many hours later.

Hyde? No, with this scent, you cannot hide. Show yourself, be ignited!
