Because if you just want to smell something really, really, really fresh in one day, go taste it!

The freshness of this lemon or is it lemonade (?) or lemon pure (?) is so fresh, so alive, so clean, so crystal clear, as if the brain would come back from a three-week vacation after smelling it.

My thoughts are suddenly so crystal clear. I'm not sure I ever want to smell anything else...

I was already enthusiastic about other fresh lemon scents in the last years. So Limon Verde from Guerlain was the hammer. The lemon verbena scent of L'Occitane en Provence Verveine is citric beauty to smell, or the special edition of Light Blue Limon C'est with extra lemons was as fresh as if you could sink into it.

But the clarity of Girl of Capri, who is anything but feminine, but who is definitely unisex capable, is a secret tip for you for this summer.

Around me, everyone is busy and cheerful: the harvest of the first early lemons has been brought in! Now it's time to process them: to boil them down into jellies, juices and to make them into no less delicious liqueurs.
Hard was the work on the steep slopes of the Limoneri, but that is forgotten; there is laughter and singing while the hands know what to do.
The first full jug of deliciously fresh lemonade is ready, lightly spiced with pink pepper.
This has been crushed in the mortar - also for further consumption - so that its strong spicy aroma becomes one with the fresh fruity one of lemons and bergamots.
Here in the old barn is still cooked on a brick stove; preferably with driftwood already previously collected on the beach.
It lies piled up, by now well dried and in whimsical shapes, in a corner, telling faintly salty-smelling stories of life on the sea.
I would gladly take a piece of wood or two in my hand, stroke its water-polished smoothness, and listen to what this wood has to tell.
But I must not; the habitual routine in which everything proceeds, and from which results the serenity and fragrance in the air, would be disturbed.

So I, the guest from Germany, who has made friends with the family and is therefore allowed to be there, was "banished" to a bench under the blossoming grapefruit trees; lovingly provided with thick pillows, wonderfully fresh lemonade (for me extra without pepper; they know my allergy and thought of it in all the hustle and bustle!) and a plate full of delicious biscotti.
It's pleasant here in the fragrant shade, as the grapefruit trees and their many small blossoms smell pleasantly spicy in the sun: it's a scent that exudes vibrancy and stability.
"What was that about the trees hugging?", I think, as the wind sends another reminder to me of the sea dancing lively below the property.
I can almost feel the spray, that fine mist of moisture on my skin.
I would love to help, but can understand that I would only be a nuisance at the moment.

Not only for girls

I've never been to Capri

Yes, I can hear you Capri connoisseurs guffawing. Luckily, I consulted Wiki before I started this comment: nix lemon groves, nix long sandy beaches with driftwood.

But, I read, limencello is also made on Capri and there we have the lemons. Spray probably has plenty on this rocky island, maybe there's driftwood floating around somewhere (on the way to a mainland beach) and the grapefruit blossom is probably blooming in some private garden. The white musk ... oh, white musk is kind of lying around everywhere ... isn't it?

What I'm telling you is that "A Girl In Capri" is a summer-sun-sea-holiday pretending beautiful summer scent. I smell lemon, driftwood (woody, a teeny bit musty, like damp wood even) and sea spray with a hint of salt. The grapefruit blossom shows through with a slightly soapy note and very delicate sweetness. I don't detect the musk, even as a powder. I think to myself, he should hold the whole thing together somehow.

By all means a purchase candidate with one drawback: the sillage should - especially in the current temperatures - like to be a little more voluminous, so that I do not have to after a short time with the nose in the direction of the wrist, to come to the above-described feeling. The shelf life is okay at 5 - 6 hours. Well, I decided to let the t-shirt get some too, so I can have AGIC in my nose a bit longer without having to sniff directly at my wrist. Nachsprühen is - also in view of the quite reasonable price - quite recommended several times a day.

Warm and fresh, sweet and sour-tart

I sniffed the fragrance in a perfumery the other day and liked it immediately. Now it was on sale at an unbeatable price and I bought it without thinking. I'm already looking forward to the summer, when I'll definitely be wearing it a lot.

Citrus fragrances don't always suit me. It always depends on what kind of citrus fruit it is and how strong it is.
Here I get sweet lemon. Yes, that sounds like a contradiction, but that's exactly what it smells like to me. It smells like the sun, I would say. Warm and yet fresh, sweet and yet tart and tangy. I can't smell the individual components, but they create a wonderful fragrance as a whole.
