Bubblegum Heaven
On first spray this smells exactly like classic pink Hubba Bubba. Until the cake comes in all I can smell from this flanker is super sweet bubblegum. Even then, once the musk and cake arrive, the bottom notes just make the bubblegum scent heavier, they do not mask or hide the other note. The sweetness is still prominent and forward. It isn't cloying or overpowering though. A very candied and fun scent, yet also mature in a sense.
I usually apply this in the morning (2 sprays under the shirt) and will reapply later in the evening for a refresh. I expect my 100ml bottle to last awhile.
While Candied Fantasy might not be the favourite in my Fantasy collection (currently that goes to Circus), I find myself often reaching for this bottle. This was a delightful blind buy. Give it a go if you like candy scents or are a Britney fragrance fan.

Smoky Fruit Salad
I received this in a discovery set with a few other Clean samples. I enjoyed the other scents in the box such as Warm Cotton and Sparkling Sugar so I figured I would like this one too, especially since I love fruit. Alas, it was not meant to be.
Upon spraying Radiant Nectar on my skin I was immediately greeted by the familiar scent of rotting fruit. I work at a fruit bar, and this perfume smelled on me exactly like our compost bins do after sitting in the sun for a day. I couldn't smell any pear, just rot. I hoped it would settle, but instead the tobacco came through, and now my rotten fruit salad smelled like it was made by a person smoking an old cigar.
A headache developed as the scent lingered on my skin from the time I applied it to when my husband got home. I could not believe the staying power of this perfume. The ones you don't enjoy always seem to last the longest. The fruit smell faded, leaving a musky sweet tobacco scent, with undertones of rot. When my husband came home from work I asked him to smell me, and he said I smelled good! He liked how the tobacco musk smelled with a hint of sweet fruit. He told me he couldn't detect any of the rot scent I had complained about. Funny how that goes.
I'll be finding a friend to give the remainder of this sample to. If you like smoky fruit scents this will probably hit the right boxes for you! For me, this is a no.

Lemon candy you won't pucker at
This perfume was part of a discovery set I purchased from Winners. I love lemon so I was excited to try this one out! I had very high hopes for this perfume despite the average ratings. Well, the ratings were true. Citron Glacé is nice, but uninspiring and weak in strength.
On first spray, my nose was immediately hit with the smell of sharp, but sweet, lemon confectionery. Once the scent settled it reminded me more of a lemon tart than candy. No sourness here. The scent is pleasant but not exciting. I think the lemon & jasmine mingle in a way that is similar to the jasmine & orange in Clean's Solar Bloom. Both these perfumes smell quite alike to me after the opening notes, so much so I was hoping Citron Glacé could work as a cheaper dupe of the latter.
Sadly, the performance just isn't there. I applied two sprays to my chest around 8am, and by 10am there was no more scent. If this lasted longer I think I'd buy a larger bottle, but compared to Solar Bloom which gives me a few more hours of wear the cost ratio doesn't seem worth it.
I don't think this is a bad perfume. It just didn't wow me in the way I expected. I'll definitely be using the entirety of this sample up though.

Experience a hug from a mystical barista!
I received Séance in a sample bag. This is not a scent profile I would have willingly sought out as I am not a big fan of the smell of coffee. Yet I love this fragrance from Lurker & Strange! It smells like a hug would from a barista who just finished plating a big batch of magical coffee biscuits. Sweet with just a hint of coffee. I can't pinpoint *why* I like it so much- maybe its the mix of butter & almond. The toffee & vanilla really shine as well. The whole blend is just pleasant to envelope yourself in. I don't get anything fruity from this, it is more of a sweet baked treat vibe.
The projection is average; my husband could faintly smell me about a half foot away after applying. If someone were to get in close they would for sure smell this fragrance on you. I applied several dabs to my chest in the morning, by the time I ended my day in the evening I could still catch a whisper of Séance under my shirt. As much as I love this fragrance it does trigger a headache on the wrong day so I can't wear it all the time. I save it for colder days inside when I want a little warmth.
