Modern Freshie with an Ocean View
Love the combination of Pine, Juniper and mineral aspects that tie together this scent giving a cleanness- sharpness but also contrasted with an overall smoothness giving it texture. The seaweed for me is very minimal, it just gives a slight salty touch like seawater residue on your skin after swimming in the ocean. But nothing like Megamare, not that direction. I don't think that I see it as an aquatic either. Much more green, fresh. Think Juniper berries that are soaked in Gin. Also, something in here makes it project very strong through the first hour (BIG Aroma chemicals) and then it settles down.

Spicy Fig
I'm really enjoying this one. I'm a little surprised that I'm liking it as much as I do.
It's perfect for the warm spring days and summer and will work year around. It does start very green; Green fig leave, light black pepper with zero sweetness. After about 15 minutes it starts turning where you can smell the fig fruit and it has a light natural sweetness. The fruit takes over but the Fig leaf is still there. I can smell a soft pepper and dry spices. On the main accords above: I would amp up the green accord and dial down the warm spicy. To me, I get more FRESH SPICY

Ok, let's keep this one a secret. Cartier is already overlooked and overvalued compared to the other designer houses Chanel and Dior, but have a rich history with solid offerings. The entire Oud collection is a wonderful example of western ouds that are buttery smooth. With "Les Heures Voyageuses - Oud & Ambre | Cartier" it's more about the amber accord with less emphasis on the oud. Easily a top 5 Ambre that can fit into the discussion with "Ambre sultan (Eau de Parfum) | Serge Lutens" and "Ambre Précieux | Maître Parfumeur et Gantier" and "Grand Soir | Maison Francis Kurkdjian"

Winter LDDM
It is a very personal perfume for me as it reminds me of my childhood growing up in the mountains of SoCal. Late summer at dusk, the air outside gets heavy when it's easier to smell.
I get coniferous notes when I smell LDDM. Dry pine needles and leaves under your feet. I know this is a spicy desert perfume, but it’s a nice memory for me.
I enjoy LDDM so much I purchased Au Coeur du Desert the next week, and I actually favor Au Coeur as my new modern signature scent.
*Au Coeur works better in colder weather. While it smells the same to me, it's the way it wears-richer, denser. As compared to "№ 02 - L'Air du Désert Marocain (Eau de Toilette Intense) | Tauer Perfumes" it's airier, spacious and can be worn year around.
