A Fragrance Journey Through the Night: The New "Biassanòt" Eau de Parfum From Gritti

The Italian luxury house Gritti unveils "Biassanot", a leathery, dark unisex fragrance that takes you on a sensory journey through the night.

Billows of smoke, mysterious aromas, another shot. He enjoys the hustle and bustle, steals the show, moves from bar to bar. When he arrives, the party starts. The moonlight is reflected in his glass, the night becomes his shadow.

To capture the vibrant mood of the late evening, the fragrance journey opens with a prelude of nuances of fresh hay, aromatic coffee and the earthy green tone of vetiver. The top note then transitions into a dark heart that blends striking leather, smoky accords and the sweet, beguiling note of night flower jasmine. The fragrance journey is rounded off by a warm blend of musk, oud and tobacco leaves, which lend the composition additional depth. 

As part of the "Black" collection "Biassanòt" was created by Luca Gritti. The series, which aims to reflect Luca Gritti's creative approach and his talent in dealing with different perfume genres, debuted with the women's fragrance "Aqua Incanta" in 2012. Other creations in the collection include "Rebellion" from 2021 and "19-68" from 2019.

The fragrances in the Black Collection are characterized by their inner dynamism and the masterful use of spicy notes - one of the perfumer's favourite techniques, which is linked to the history of his family.

The history of Gritti perfumes is said to date back to the 16th century, when Alvise Gritti, a merchant born in Constantinople, began trading in perfumes. He skillfully combined spices and essences that connected the Orient with the West and wrote down the recipes for these exquisite fragrances in books.

In 2009, Luca Gritti, a passionate lover of fragrances and descendant of the family, founded the Gritti Venetia brand. One year later, the label presented its first unisex fragrance "Antalya". Inspired by the recipes of times gone by, the luxury perfume house has been creating modern, high-quality Italian fragrances that bridge the gap between past and present ever since.

The new fragrance is available in a bottle size of 100 ml.
