Greek Open-Air Cinema Evenings: "SEΛENE" by Manos Gerakinis

Manos Gerakinis presents the new unisex fragrance "SEΛENE", which combines citrus with floral nuances, sweet praline and warm woods.

The fragrance was named after the moon goddess of Greek mythology 'Selene' and is meant to capture the charm of a Greek summer evening at the open-air cinema.

There, while watching a movie under the stars, you feel caressed by a wealth of different aromas that magically blend together as if they were fused by the moonlight: Blossoms and leaves from citrus trees, tranquil woods and night-blooming jasmine from the neighboring trees and gardens, a delicious praline note reminiscent of the sweet treats you enjoy during the movie, along with a sensual musk cloud reminiscent of an ideal, warm and breezy Athenian summer night.

Top notes of grapefruit peel and Calabrian bergamot open the fragrance experience, accompanied by the freshness of petitgrain. The heart note reveals floral aromas of violet, jasmine sambac and orange blossom, rounded off by a sweet note of praline. The fragrance is anchored by warm notes of amber, musk, sandalwood and Virginia cedar.

"SEΛENE" is the work of Greek senior perfumer Christina Koutsoudaki and is part of the 'Heritage Collection'. The fragrance series was launched in 2017 with "Immortelle" and "Pivoine", followed by "Rose Poetique" the following year, "Omen" in 2020 and "MEΘEXIS" in 2022.
