A Sensual, Powdery Amber Fragrance: “Tales of Amber” by Goldfield & Banks

As part of the Botanical Series, Australian perfume house Goldfield & Banks launches the new unisex fragrance "Tales of Amber".

Tales of Amber is a warm, powdery and sensual amber extract that focuses on the purity of New Zealand ambergris, capturing scorched earth, sunlit resins and mineral warmed skin.

"Tales of Amber" is a modern homage to one of perfumery's most iconic notes: ambergris.

The composition combines a warm accord of Ambre 83, Australian oud and New Zealand ambergris to create a foundation with earthy, woody notes. This is complemented by velvety, floral nuances of iris and orange blossom, rounded off with a spicy pinch of cinnamon.

The fragrance was developed by perfumer Suzy Le Helley.

A new chapter in the Botanical Series

With the Extrait de Parfum "Tales of Amber", Goldfield & Banks continues the Botanical Series - a collection that focuses on selected natural materials.

Previous creations include "Silky Woods", a warm, smoky blend of tobacco and vanilla, "Purple Suede", a reinterpretation of lavender with leathery-animalic accents, and "Island Lush", a lush fragrance with woods, exotic spices and resins.

"Tales of Amber" will be available from September 1 in a 100 ml bottle; samples can already be ordered.
