"Foreste di Seta" opens with the herbaceous and spicy essences of clary sage. In the heart notes, silk and walnut merge to create a creamy and woody note that is warmly rounded out by earthy, woody and slightly sweet notes of Madagascar vetiver in the finish.

"Cieli di Seta" opens with an invigorating composition of hot and spicy notes of Madagascar pepper, which are followed by a fruity accord of blueberry and silk in the heart notes. The base note is dominated by musk, which gives the fragrance a warm depth.

Both fragrances belong to Salvatore Ferragamo's "Storie di Seta" collection. The label describes the fragrance range as an olfactory collection of dreams, colors and emotions that recalls the history of silk and captures its myths. Each design is meant to transport you to a world of illusions and imaginative gardens.

Before founding the Italian company of the same name, founder Salvatore Ferragamo moved to Hollywood to open his first shoe store. In the 1920s, he eventually built the Salvatore Ferragamo brand, which gradually gained worldwide fame. In addition to shoes and fine fragrances, the company produces clothing, handbags, watches and accessories. Today, the brand's headquarters are located in Florence's Palazzo Spini Feroni.

The new fragrances are presented in transparent flacons in green and purple hues, on which exotic motifs are depicted. These are meant to represent the fictional world and idea behind the fragrances.
